(41) Ps 25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth (emeth) unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies .

..All the paths of the LORD (YHWH) are mercy and truth (emeth) unto ..(us)

The verse in the Old Testament shows YHWH is Jesus, the one who shows mercy and truth to His redeemed.. Notice these terms are a path of salvation...away to walk in...a common poetry symbol of salvation... The Holy Spirit is a pathway for YHWH's truth and mercy...an agency for channelling salvation, even the Old Testament, as in the New Testament.

(42) Ps 26:3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes : and I have walked in thy truth (emeth) .

.. I have walked in thy truth (emeth) ..

When we walk in the Spirit of truth...we find Jesus' salvation..

(43) Ps 30:9 What profit is there in my blood , when I go down to the pit ? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth (emeth) ?

(44) Ps 31:5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit : thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth (emeth) .

Into thine hand I commit my spirit : thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth (emeth) .

This is a confusing passage. At first glance it suggests the Holy Spirit is YHWH?

Notice the passage:

  • Ps 31:2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock (tsuwr - symbol of the Father), for an house of defence to save me.
  • 3 For thou art my rock (cela - symbol of Jesus) and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
  • 4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
  • 5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit (my character as administrated by the Holy Spirit): thou hast redeemed me, O LORD (YHWH) God (el - one of singular Strong Authority) of truth (symbol of the Holy Spirit).
  • 6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD (YHWH).

    This passage was written by David, but quoted by Jesus as He was dying on the Cross. Jesus cries out to the Father and the Holy Spirit.

    The passage tells us the Father is also YHWH, who is also a source of truth, carried by the Holy Spirit.

    (45) Ps 40:10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart ; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation : I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth (emeth) from the great congregation .

    .. and thy truth (emeth)..

    truth is a part of salvation..

    (46) Ps 40:11 � Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD : let thy lovingkindness and thy truth (emeth) continually preserve me.

    .. and thy truth (emeth) continually preserve me.

    A typology of the Holy Spirit as a Comforter who continually preserves us with heavenly truth..

    (47) Ps 43:3 O send out thy light and thy truth (emeth) : let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill , and to thy tabernacles .

    O send out thy light and thy truth (emeth) ..

    Notice the simile here, light and truth...

  • Light is a family of colours, truth is a family of words..
  • Light is sent from a source, truth is sent from a source..
  • Particles of light individually carry this energy, The Holy Spirit individually carries each truth..

    (48) Ps 45:4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth (emeth) and meekness and righteousness ; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things .

    .. because of truth (emeth) and meekness..

    The Spirit of Truth makes us meek and our right hand active..

    (49) Ps 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth (emeth) in the inward parts : and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom .

    Behold, thou desirest truth (emeth) ....make me know (yada) wisdom..

    David had a troubled birth and upbringing...but desires truth and wants a relationship (yada) with wisdom. Truth and Wisdom are symbols of the Holy Spirit..

    Even David asks to be created anew via the Holy Spirit.

  • Ps 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
  • 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

    Such are the webs of context, showing salvation via the Holy Spirit of Truth.

    (50) Ps 54:5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies : cut them off in thy truth (emeth) .

    ..cut them off in thy truth (emeth) ..

    The Holy Spirit cuts us off from heavenly flow of power, because the Holy Spirit acts as a Medium... A medium is some manifestation of material that allows flows of energy into and out of the medium. Wind is an energy form made manifest in the media of air. The Holy Spirit is a simile of wind. The Holy Spirit is a medium that carries the heavenly flow of powers for GOD.
