(62) Isa 58:9 Then shalt thou call , and the LORD shall answer ; thou shalt cry , and he shall say , Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke , the putting forth of the finger , and speaking vanity (aven) ;

Here is another verse saying clearly that one can "born"(yalad) dysfunctional genes that cause propensities for bad moral development of character. Those who say character is simply that which the mind develops and is only of a spiritual nature, are wrong. The Bible speaks of a physical element to character development and expression, that our very genetic makeup has propensities or genes which enhance our moral development of character or disturb the development. This affect is called epi-genetics by science. It is a physical component to our spiritual and moral expression. Our very genes can express function or dysfunction depending upon what thinking and behaviour we do.
(64) Isa 59:6 Their webs shall not become garments , neither shall they cover themselves with their works : their works are works of iniquity (aven) , and the act of violence is in their hands .

(65) Isa 59:7 Their feet run to evil , and they make haste to shed innocent blood : their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity (aven) ; wasting and destruction are in their paths .

(66) Isa 66:3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man ; he that sacrificeth a lamb , as if he cut off a dogs neck ; he that offereth an oblation , as if he offered swines blood ; he that burneth incense , as if he blessed an idol (aven) . Yea, they have chosen their own ways , and their soul delighteth in their abominations .
