(31) Ps 59:2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity (aven) , and save me from bloody men .

(34) Ps 66:18 If I regard iniquity (aven) in my heart , the Lord will not hear me:

If I regard dysfunction (aven) in my heart,

We are all inherited with genetic propensities for dysfunction. If we wake up our genes thus make the propensity for evil bear fruit, before it even bear fruit, the Lord will not hear our prayers, for we have unleashed a propensity through our own choosing. Thus our very thoughts have to be subjected to our control, unless ignorantly or deliberately we unleash a genetic potential for dysfunction.

(35) Ps 90:10 The days of our years ,) are threescore years ,) and ten ; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years ,), yet is their strength labour and sorrow (aven) ; for it is soon cut off , and we fly away .

yet is their (genetic) strength (for) labour and (genetic strength for) dysfunction (aven) ;

God our Intelligent Designer has placed limits on the genetic strength of our genes. What is amazing about this verse is that genes "aven" limit our life span. To 70 or 80 years at the time this verse was written, in David's time. Notice also this limit is apportioned to the amount of genetic expression for vigour or the genetic expression for dysfunction that decrease our strength over time. It is the genetic expression that makes us weak and age. Today we would say mutations cause us to age and die because our good genes become bad genes due to copying errors during the process of making new cells. The verse also says our life span is "cut off" or "sheared off". Who would have known the telomeres of our genes is shortened during each copying process and this causes us to limit our life span to a mechanical clock inside our bodies? What is also strange is the "bird" Hebrew word that we fly away upon our death. Indeed the breath of life does fly upwards to heaven from where it came from.

  • Joh 1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

    Notice the Holy Spirit is the administrator of our breath, the divine presence in us developing our character as we will, and upon our death, the Holy Spirit as a bird like Being flies back to heaven from whence it came.

    (36) Ps 92:9 For, lo, thine enemies , O LORD , for, lo, thine enemies shall perish ; all the workers of iniquity (aven) shall be scattered .

    ..the workers of dysfunction (aven) ..

    (37) Ps 94:4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things ? and all the workers of iniquity (aven) boast themselves?

    ... the workers of dysfunction (aven) boast..

    (38) Ps 94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers ? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity (aven) ?

    .. the workers of dysfunction (aven) ?

    (39) Ps 94:23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity (aven) , and shall cut them off in their own wickedness ; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off .

    And he shall bring upon them their own dysfunction (aven) ,

    (40) Ps 101:8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land ; that I may cut off all wicked (aven) doers from the city of the LORD .

    .. that I may cut off all dysfunctional (aven) doers from the city..
