GM Foods. Genetic Modified Organisms are harmful

Q15: What dangers are there with God Move Over foods?

As we move toward the end of time, a time of trouble shall come upon us, such as never was since there a nation (Dan 12:1) . A video movie produced by Gary Null explains, we have entered into an era where God's Natural Foods are no longer available to us , and we have to increasingly eat these God Move Over foods (Null G, 2013). What we can expect from these Genetic Modified Organisms (GMO) many are forced to eat, is yet another sign we live with those destroying the earth (Rev11:18).

This may have happened once before by our modern counterpart genetic engineers before the flood, who did various genetic amalgamations to both humans, plants and animals. While Ellen White does not say this directly, her statement below is a profound one for genetics:

"The confused species which GOD did not create, which were the result of amalgamation, were destroyed by the flood. Since the flood there has been amalgamation of man and beast, as may be seen in the almost endless varieties of species of animals, and in certain races of men (White, EG 1870).�

Could it be that the term "amalgamation" penned all those years ago is in fact a reference to genetic engineering? Notice what the Bible also alludes to as well:

"Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed (Lev 19:19)"

Is this also a reference to genetic engineering of plants and animals across the various kinds, that God never intended human engineers to play around with life? Have we as humans reached the point where we are asking God to Move Over, so we can enjoy a new world order of prosperity eating GMO foods?

When mankind sinned, God said that sin would affect our world externally with weeds and internally with a change to our diet( Gen 3:18) . He foreknew of sins affects and made provisions for it's curse.

Apart from an increase in exercise(Gen 3:19), and eating well(Gen 3:18), there were no added factors God told man on how to cope with sin. As Christians, who live in the world, are not to be affected by the world; we find it is increasingly difficult to access the diet God planned for us.

Walia says in his article, people who think GMO foods are completely safe have not done enough investigation. He then lists ten studies showing GMO foods are harmful (Walia A (2) 2014). One reason why we are not yet seeing harmful affects as yet, is because humans we have not been eating GM foods long enough(Walia A (1) 2014) . Trials with mice are too short (3 months)(Null, G, 2013) to notice problems and this confuses experimental results (Anon 2013), causing many to see GMO as safe (White M, 2013). Even if you look at so called studies saying GMO is safe(Magana-Gomez et al, 2009), you reach a different conclusion(Article 3.3, 2014). Looking critically at Snell's study, who says in his paper that GM foods are safe; there is long term harm recorded, but it's hidden in the results; so when mice were fed GM Soybean for 240 days Snell records:

"Irregularly shaped nuclei, higher number of nuclear pores, numerous small fibrilla centres and abundant dense fibrillar component, nucleoplasmic and nuclear splicing factor more abundant in GM fed mice (Snell, et al, 2012) ( from table 2)�.

GM foods are supposed to provide benefits for producers or consumers, with lower price, greater yields, less chemical use, better nutrition value and durability of the product (WHO, 2014). The sad reality is there has been to d ate no benefit to consumers at all, no better taste, no lower price, nothing ( Null G, 2013).

Some GM foods are engineered to make insecticides which is really the gene proteins of bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)(WHO 2014). Normally a plant makes an insecticide for a short term only if it's eaten (Null G, 2013). But now the GM plant is burdened to make unregulated amounts of Bt all the time. When a human eats the GM food, the DNA fragments and even intact genes of plants and bacteria fragments pass into our blood stream intact (Netherwood T, et al, 2004).

Gone are the old high school days where they taught us all foods are broken down to simple sugars and amino acids. Not so. In fact it seems GOD requires us to eat plant DNA fragments to complement our own DNA and make nano-scale molecular adjustments to our health, which couldn't happen if we don't eat plant foods. But if we eat GM foods with these bacterial genes switched on (Spisak S, et al, 2013), our own bacteria also pick these up and we have our own gut (Heritage J, 2004), colonies making Bt insecticides in us as well. This causes a huge increase in disease arising from inflamed stomach leaky wall damage (Null,2013).

Just so we have authority to these claims, here are the words of Spis�k, et al, 2013 in his paper:

"During digestion proteins and DNA are thought to be degraded into small constituents, amino acids and nucleic acids, respectively, and then absorbed by a complex active process and distributed to various parts of the body through the circulation system. Here, based on the analysis of over 1000 human samples from four independent studies, we report evidence that meal-derived DNA fragments which are large enough to carry complete genes can avoid degradation and through an unknown mechanism enter the human circulation system (Spisak S, et al, 2013)."

If we try to speak up against GMO we may lose our job as Pusztai did, even though he was faithful in his scientific research into GM potatoes (Pusztai A, 1998). Normally when plants and animals breed they mate under the genetic conditions God always intended them to have. GM organisms cannot breed normally because Nature does not recognize the genetic combinations inside them (Article 1.1, 2014).

This is exactly the kind of amalgamations that may have appeared just before GOD destroyed them during the flood. The second grand typology is coming the second time round. In the meantime, those of us stuck living in a Babylonian world should eat as natural foods as possible, as Daniel (Dan 1:12) did. Shalom
