Here is an interesting clue to Baal religion.
The Chaldeans is another Hebrew name for Babylonians. Thus by the law of
association, we should expect Babylonian religion and Baal religion to be
the same, only changes in marketing brand names. When God confounded
Babylon's effort in building Babel, the word Babylon has two meanings.
In Babylonian language, the word means "stairway to heaven", ever heard
of this song ? In Hebrew language the word means "confusion".
It would be interesting to study Babylon as well to see the different brand
names of Baal religion in Babylon. This is a good idea since Babylon is
the named religion of the last day events of time before Jesus comes the
second time to take his remnant home. To a real home where the real
strong authority of home flows.
( 62 ) Jer 32:35 And they built the high places of Baal "Ba`al", which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom , to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech ; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind , that they should do this abomination , to cause Judah to sin .

Baal religion is a religion of business commerce, buying and selling of material goods.
( 64 ) Ho 2:13 And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim "Ba`al", wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels , and she went after her lovers , and forgat me, saith the LORD .
.. visit upon her the days of baal ..
( 65 ) Ho 2:17 For I will take away the names of Baalim "Ba`al" out of her mouth , and they shall no more be remembered by their name .

( 66 ) Ho 11:2 As they called them, so they went from them : they sacrificed unto Baalim "Ba`al", and burned incense to graven images .
.. them they sacrificed unto baal ..
( 67 ) Ho 13:1 � When Ephraim spake trembling , he exalted himself
in Israel ; but when he offended in Baal "Ba`al",
he died . Ho 13:2 And now they sin more and more, and have
made them molten images of their silver, and idols according
to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen:
they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
.. but when he offended in baal ..
Here is another clue to Baal worship following the next verse..
The system of Baal allows people to sin as much as they like to Baal, as
long as they sacrifice or make forgiveness, all is well again...The
people only need kiss the feet of strong authorities..The Bible condemns
the practice to kiss any person on earth, for the only strong authority
we worship should be Jesus..
( 68 ) Zep 1:4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah , and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem ; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal "Ba`al" from this place , and the name of the Chemarims with the priests ;
.. will cut off the remnant of baal ..
( 69 ) Ro 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him ? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men , who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal "Ba`al".
