Notice Baal worship is a technology too, for to make molten images, one
has to employ complex technology. The very first example of technology
used to make a "home secure authority" is Adam and Eve immediately
when they sinned... They both put forth tremendous effort to improve
their own "home secured authority" after they sinned by manufacturing
fig leaves for clothing to cover their naked bodies, once the solid
colours of the Holy Spirit departed them, and went further inside,
allowing another authority (Satan) to cover them...hence the
nakedness. But Satan inspired a way around this problem in Satan's
religion, he would use a thing to replace the loss, hence clothes
of technology.
Ge 3:7 ..and they knew that they were naked "eyrom"; and they
sewed "taphar" fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Jesus came and showed Adam and Eve a better symbol of the lost clothing,
with the killing of an animal which represent Jesus Himself, to restore the
lost covering. Notice the symbol of clothes, is a representation of Jesus,
a person, not a thing, that is eventually allowing full restoration of the
Garden of Eden home like it was before sinned came along.
Thus any made made technology is a Baal religion too, all the effort to make
the "home secure authority" a better place, all such effort comes to nothing.
It's interesting of all the gadgets to enter our homes they have not reduced
the moral problems of family life, or helped in the time consumption of our
busy lives. Technology has it's place, but one must be careful that it is
not worshiped as Baal.
