prayer 6, heal sickness, how to study Hebrew, broken relationship healing

Q10: Welcome to prayer training by Jesus..

Understand the childlike foundations first:-

  • (1) How to support Jesus
  • (2) Former rains in Jesus
  • (3) Latter rains in Jesus

    (4) Deeper prayer training.

  • Let's study the sixth prayer:

Ps 6:2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak (umlal) "bitterly-weak from sickness":

The Hebrew word "umlal" (Strong's 536) means "The strong secure, flowing head", and is related to words such as the "flowing head", meaning "bitter" spelled "mar". Other related words include bitterness, stomach bile and the poison from snake bite. These are similes of sin, so we naturally result in sickness from our missing God's power in our lives.

Our Father, have mercy on me, for this bitter sickness makes me feel weak, forgive my missing, let me seek your healing, we support Jesus words. Amen

Ps 6:2 ..O LORD, heal (rapha) "heal" me; for my bones are vexed (bahal) "stirred".

The Hebrew word "rapa" (Strong's 7495) means "The head's mouth strong"; and is related to words such as health, medicine and weakness.

Let's investigate why two Hebrew words for weakness:-

Joe 1:12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth (amal) "is weak"; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

    Eze 16:30 How weak (amal) "weak" is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;

The Hebrew word "umlal" is only used once in Prayer 6:2, and the related word "amal" shows the weakness is caused from not being properly connected to God's power. Thus the tree grows weak and withers.

Jos 18:3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long [are] ye slack (raphah) "weak" to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?

More of a physical weakness of the mind, to be slack..

2Ki 4:27 And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone "be weak"; for her soul [is] vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid [it] from me, and hath not told me.

A weakness of the mind because the "living energy" is bitter.

Ezr 4:4 Then the people of the land weakened "weakened" the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building,

Interesting picture. Other people stress Israel and their hands go weak.

Ps 37:8 Cease "Weaken" from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Weaken from anger. Strange use of context. The opposite is to be strong in anger. Notice the child like simplicity of Hebrew.

Ps 46:10 Be still "weak", and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Be weak and know (yada) that I [am] God (elohiym). Notice the added English word "am" and the Hebrew word "yada" really means to be to "intimate" with, a broader meaning than "know", and more of a relationship meaning.

Be weak and intimate with Elohiym.

Wow! What a prayer promise. In a relationship, one cannot be strong and over power the relationship...that would be pride...no. One must be weak in the intimate relationship with heavenly Elohiym powers, than one is strong in power flow through you.

Pr 18:9 He also that is slothful "weak" in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.

One whose work is weak is a great waster. How much of our church assembly of brothers are weak, and thus a great waster.

Zep 3:16 ... Let not thine hands be slack "weak".

Let not our hands be weak...

This is a prayer promise too. Ask God to make your work strong. Ask God to make your actions not waste time.

Thus one can see differences between these two Hebrew words, both translated as "Weak" in English.

    Ps 6:2 ..O LORD, heal (rapha) "heal" me;

This is a wonderful prayer promise for when any of us are sick medically.

Let's look at this Hebrew word that comes in two forms, the verb form Jeff Benner says means to "heal" but the noun form means to be "dead". This cannot be... how can the incomplete action mean "heal" and the completed action mean "dead"... and since both forms must have the same meaning, we have a real problem here:-

So how does a child do a Hebrew word study?

Easy...(1) Get all the contexts of the Hebrew word:-

    Like so:-

Ge 20:17 So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.

  • Ge 50:2 And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father: and the physicians embalmed Israel.
  • Ex 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
  • Ex 21:19 If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.
  • Le 13:18 The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,
  • Le 13:37 But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
  • Le 14:3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;
  • Le 14:48 And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
  • Nu 12:13 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.
  • De 28:27 The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.
  • De 28:35 The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.
  • De 32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
  • 1Sa 6:3 And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.
  • 1Ki 18:30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.

See we have a problem... how can "rapha" mean "heal"? You cannot "heal" an altar can you? Maybe the rocks are similes of a relationship with GOD, and so one can "heal the relationship" with GOD. Perhaps.

2Ki 2:21 And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.

Another problem...how can a spring of water be healed? If the spring of water are similes of the Holy Spirit and Jesus, than one can heal the relationship.

2Ki 2:22 So the waters were healedunto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

  • 2Ki 8:29 And king Joram went back to be healedin Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.

Go through each verse seeking a single English word to fit all the contexts, unless the word has multiple meanings, which is uncommon.

So it looks like "rapha" or "RaPA" means to "heal". The correct spelling is shown, the capital letters show Hebrew letters, the lower case are vowels humans add for convenience, usally "a" is added commonly. Hence we have "RaPA", the "Head mouth strong".

Now let's see the "noun form" of "RaPA".

Job 26:5 Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

Ps 88:10 Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.

Pr 2:18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead .

Pr 9:18 But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

Pr 21:16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead .

Isa 14:9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

Isa 26:14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

Isa 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead . (KJV)

Notice the contexts refer all to the dead...The Hebrew word "muwth" means "death" and "hell" or "shaowl" is also mentioned.

How does one translate these Hebrew forms correctly? Than the Holy Spirit impressed me. Is not Divinity coupled to Humanity and thus we are alive only in relationship? Yes but as a result of Adam's original missing, all flesh born of humanity comes under a broken relationship. So when the broken relationship is fully complete, the relationship ends, and the healing stops, the person dies. If however you pray for healing, the broken relationship is empowered with salvational healing that comes only via Jesus who promised to replace the broken relationship with His own unbroken relationship, that has to be of flesh humanity. Thus Jesus who is of Elohiym kind, added humanity to His divinity, and this unbroken human flesh that never did any missing is used to replace the broken relationship all ordinary humans are born with. Thus the relationship can be fully restored.

So how does one translate these Hebrew words?

  • Zec 11:16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor broken-relationship-heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.(KJV)

Notice the verb form of "RaPA" fits all contexts nicely, though sounds funny in English, but we are faithfully and consistently showing the reader the Holy Scriptures in it's original unspoiled form.

Notice a few concepts: "broken-relationship-healers" on earth, such as doctors cannot heal, we are to ask the "broken-relationship-Healer" in heaven to heal our soul, and our sickness. Though doctors on earth may play a minor role in helping our bodies physically sick, but most of our sickness arise from a dysfunctional mind, and hence we need a Divine-broken-relationship-Healer.

Now let's translate the noun form of "RaPA":-

Job 26:5 Broken-relationship-ended things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

Ps 88:10 Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the broken-relationship-ended arise and praise thee? Selah.

Pr 2:18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the broken-relationship-ended .

Pr 9:18 But he knoweth not that the broken-relationship-ended are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

Pr 21:16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the broken-relationship-ended .

Isa 14:9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the broken-relationship-ended for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

Isa 26:14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are broken-relationship-ended, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

Isa 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the broken-relationship-ended . (KJV)

Notice what we have achieved: The verb form of a Hebrew word is a meaning incomplete in its action, while the noun form is complete, but both forms must have similar meanings.

In English, "He went to love her with his love", one cannot say the words "love" here have different meanings, but they do show differences in action.

"The farmer went to produce produce". The first word shows a product still under construction, the second shows a product fully ready for market. Get the idea?

We are all born with "broken relationship" that through God's mercy is kept alive for a season of time. If the "broken relationship ends" its allocated time with GOD, you die. If during your season of "Broken relationship" with God, you seek healing from God, than God may consider your request an act of salvation as long as you remain supporting GOD. Thus our broken relationship can be swapped with an unbroken relationship, and thus we have ongoing living with GOD in a relationship for ever. This is possible because Jesus can take our old broken relationship and swap this with a brand new "body or relationship".

You will also notice Hebrew words such as this remind us, "Relationship" is the most important thing with GOD.

That was a long study on Prayer 6.

An update on a deeper relationship with Jesus. One day a birthday person offered me a decadent chocolate mud cake with three layers of mud, and I was stunned by the offer. He handed it to me and I ate. When you do missing, Jesus is silent. Than I went over to the food bar and ate a further four sugar-pastry man-made things. Finally I came to my senses with this human man-made madness that causes missing, and go to eat a naturally made apple from the Lord's tree. As I eat the apple I notice the increased complexity of sugars over my mouth. Nice I say. The mad-made madness is a contrasting extreme of fat and sucrose, such simple extremes that cause sensation, but also cause missing. The naturally made apple on the other hand is made from at least six sugars and dozens of other things all designed for less extreme taste, but a longer lasting sensation.

When you eat a man-made madness product such as an icecream, the first second is sensational, but the senses are flooded with two extreme foods, fat and sucrose, and the next second is nothing, the next nothing, and so the missing continues. But if you eat the natural Jesus-made product, the apple promises less sensation on the first second, but each second after that satisfies and lasts and you feel the complexity of flavours more.

If you cannot understand this, first detox your body from mineral salt and notice a gradual increase in your tongue to subtle flavours. Whoever said your tongue only feels four flavours, salt, sweet, sour and bitter, knows nothing of God's design. Our tongues can taste dozens of different tastes. No longer trust Science to know anything much. Trust God.

As you practice "prayer and fasting" your will will slowly and gradually change to seek Jesus more, and the food we indulge in goes away. One must stop eating manufactured ice-cream madness. Its hard when the only market on this planet is Satan's Sanitarium.

    Next we consider Prayer 7.
