Sola Scriptoria, communion, answer with Scripture, Christians are alone

Q3: Ch:9: Days of Conflict

Show the Desire of Ages is inspired..

(1) Jesus followed only Sola Scriptoria..

But Jesus did not interest Himself in these matters. From childhood He acted independently ofthe rabbinical laws. The Scriptures of the Old Testament were His constant study, and the words, "Thussaith the Lord," were ever upon His lips. His brothers, as the sons of Joseph were called, sided with the rabbis They insisted that the traditionsmust be heeded, as if they were the requirements of God. They even regarded the precepts of men morehighly than the word of God,Butthey did not discern that He had access to the tree of life, a source of knowledge of which they wereignorant.

Today many churches follow human church traditions, human translations in English, and even establish worldly standards in Church contrary to Scripture.

For examples of church traditions contrary to Scripture:-

(Error 1) Humans are born sinners...

  • Humans choose to become sinners

(Error 2 ) The Holy Spirit is a "he"...

  • The Holy Spirit expresses femaleness love

    (2) Jesus growing communion..

Whenever it was His privilege, He turned aside from the scene of His labor, to go into the fields, to meditate in thegreen valleys, to hold communion with God on the mountainside or amid the trees of the forest. Theearly morning often found Him in some secluded place, meditating, searching the Scriptures, or inprayer. From these quiet hours He would return to His home to take up His duties again, and to give anexample of patient toil.

Jesus made communion with Elohiym on the mountain or among the trees of the forest. Both of these are poetry figures of GOD.

What it not clear is why OT believers following their own Master's religion, practicing the worship of a Master god on the mountain, and Ashtaroth in the grove of trees was wrong according to the YHWH of the OT. The OT believers practiced Baal as a figure of the Fatherand Ashtaroth was a figure of the Holy Spirit, the Queen of heaven, was considered wrong by the YHWH of the OT. The SOP makes no comments about this, only that Jesus sought out Elohiym on the mountain or amid the trees of the forest.

    (3) Answer always with Scripture..

When the priests and teachers required Mary'said in controlling Jesus, she was greatly troubled; but peace came to her heart as He presented the statements of Scripture upholding His practices.

Mt 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures,

  • Lu 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
  • Lu 24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
  • Lu 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
  • Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal l ife: and they are they which testify of me.
  • Ac 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
  • Ac 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
  • 2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.(KJV)

Always answer people spiritually with Scripture, never talk much with human words, lest ye fall to human traditions and worldly master power. Jesus is the WORD, therefore speak His words, not yours.

    (4) The inspired walks alone..

Yet through childhood, youth, and manhood, Jesus walked alone.

Expect yourself falling in love with Jesus and His words, to walk alone as Jesus did. Many around Him loved the gifts but for the Giver they were too busy following their own Master's religion.

Ho 13:6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
