Q1: Why is creation important? Creation is the first critical assessment of GOD's ability to be GOD in our Bible. How powerful is GOD? How smart is GOD? This is a parallel statement. Christians who assume GOD made the universe over billions of years are making GOD less bigger than He really is, and less smarter and less powerful than He really is. So how big is GOD ? Nobody knows the distance of our universe since such measurements are based on light speeds and such things are subjective rather than objective. But this picture does change our perspective of the Father a little, at least several hundred trillion kilometres in size ! Ps 8:3 � When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? GOD is an awesome, majestic FAMILY who loves mankind; yet is beyond us in powers, and in intelligence. Who are we to doubt the mighty complex things of His creation? Shalom Creation theme
