| FOUR STEP TO JESUS Q6: Why are we lazy on Sabbath? Sabbath is a special time of doing redemption in others through Jesus power. Why are we so lazy about doing His work ? Since the Sabbath is the fruits of the first three works of Jesus in man, I shall list the problems beginning with the highest and hardest step and finishing with the easiest problem. (1) Lack of praying to Jesus (sin of presumption) {Not meek} Mt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
(2) Lack of knowing Jesus (sin of self-powered) {Not mournful}Joh 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
(3) Lack of willing (sin of self-exaltation).{Not humble} Ho 13:6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
There are many other factors one could list, but these relate directly to the Ten
commandment principles of love as a relationship to GOD. Let's be willing and
obedient to do and to hear the still small voice of Jesus. Shalom
