straight-path or righteous one lives by their faith

( 191 ) Am 5:12 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins : they afflict the just "tsaddiyq", they take a bribe , and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right. {a bribe: or, a ransom}

.. sins they afflict the straight-path ..

( 192 ) Hab 1:4 Therefore the law is slacked , and judgment doth never go forth : for the wicked doth compass about the righteous "tsaddiyq"; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth . {wrong: or, wrested}

.. compass about the straight-path ..

( 193 ) Hab 1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil , and canst not look on iniquity : wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously , and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous "tsaddiyq" than he? {iniquity: or, grievance}

.. devoureth the man that is more straight-path ..

( 194 ) Hab 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just "tsaddiyq" shall live by his faith .

.. not upright in him: but the straight-path .. This is the only place in the entire BIBLE that says the righteous shall live by his faith !!! Paul takes this one verse and uses it in his letters in the NT. WOW ! Habukkuk is a wonderful book of the second coming, even the coming of the pope at the end of time, and the prophecy of building house upon house the urbanization syndrome of the end of time.. the decline of Christian power in our churches at the end of time, and other things !!

( 195 ) Zep 3:5 The just "tsaddiyq" LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity : every morning doth he bring his judgment to light , he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame . {every...: Heb. morning by morning}

.. straight-path ..

( 196 ) Zec 9:9  Rejoice greatly , O daughter of Zion ; shout , O daughter of Jerusalem : behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just "tsaddiyq", and having salvation ; lowly , and riding upon an ass , and upon a colt the foal of an ass . {having...: or, saving himself}

.. King cometh unto thee: he is straight-path .. WOW !! Jesus comes straight-pathed, lowly riding a donkey having His salvation method with Him, in person, not in symbols.

( 197 ) Mal 3:18 Then shall ye return , and discern between the righteous "tsaddiyq" and the wicked , between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

.. and discern between the straight-path ..

( 198 ) Mt 1:19 Then Joseph her husband , being a just "tsaddiyq" man, and not willing to make her a publick example , was minded to put her away privily .

.. husband being a straight-pathed person did not want to disgrace his girfriend Mary ..

( 199 ) Mt 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven : for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good , and sendeth rain on the just "tsaddiyq" and on the unjust .

.. sendeth rain on the straight-path ..

( 200 ) Mt 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth , I will have mercy , and not sacrifice : for I am not come to call the righteous "tsaddiyq", but sinners to repentance .

.. to call the straight-path .. Jesus plays on words here....He did not come to call the straight-path to repentence, for they are already walking on the correct path ? Arn't they ?

Jesus came to call sinners to repentence...

The Ancient Hebrew here is interesting....First there are none that do good, not one, so the people who think they walk straight-paths are kidding themselves...there are none clinging to Jesus every second of the day.

The hebrew for sinner here is "chet" or "chata" same word in either the verb or noun action sense. A sinner is one who is sinning. This means He is missing the target of Jesus. He is not trusting , which mean He is clinging to Jesus. Hence He feels his need, and Jesus feels his desire to help.
