This is true of society in general. The idea that economies
must have positive growth creates the endless cycle of
give, give. Until all resources are gone.
The greedy person is never filled. The richer a person becomes ,
the stingy they become. The more rich is the food
the richer it must be next time. Why this is I don't know.
I like a mango just as it is, why change something nice ?
Its flavour is subtle and never boring, rich and sweet.
Why does the latest paddle pop have to have chocolate
chewy bits and flavour whackers in them these days ?
Why the maddening increase in food indulgence ?
Why must drinks have more and more complexity
about them ? Whatever happened to plain water ?
