prayer 3, too many rules, Unleaven bread feast, what are appointed times, the feasts unto Jesus

Q7: Welcome to prayer training by Jesus..

Understand the childlike foundations first:-

  • (1) How to support Jesus
  • (2) Former rains in Jesus
  • (3) Latter rains in Jesus

    (4) Deeper prayer training.

  • Last night, 7th October 2018, the Author felt a Holy Spirit impression concerning the thousands of "love teachings" found across the OT and NT teachings. Too many rules one might say...

It dawned on me that the birds of the air do not worry about all the rules that create their domain, the edges of the sky, the densities of the air and how they must change the feather flow to suit, the objects they must navigate and avoid during their migrations, no all these dozens of rules are built into their world, and the birds fly happily inside it, without a worry in the world. We humans have to enjoy our love domain just like the birds do. Enjoy being partnered to Elohiym for eternity, rather than pretending we can do our own thing, ignoring God and their outpouring of love they provide, we selfishly ignore and despise. The Hebrew word "chata" which means "missing" does not describe our breaking of the love rules as much as it describes all the missing of love's joy we have been rejecting. Sad, solemn and purposeless lives; instead of incredible joy and beauty that flows from the love of GOD within.

It only takes a spark to get the fire going, and soon all those around will warm up in its glowing, That's how it is with God's love, once you've experienced it...

The fasting and prayer theme here in Spiritual Springs, is all about experiencing GOD more. This is not something we can define easily, or write about. Relationship is about something one does for the other, all the time. Spending quality time with Jesus. Listening for the still small voice during prayer.

But first, for those of us with child like prayers, we need words to speak, and these words are best those from Jesus, He inspired others to write down, especially the 150 chapters of David, and His prayers are recorded for us to learn how to support Jesus.

Our Father in heaven, thank you for Jesus, your Son, thank you for making me a tree by the Holy Spirit, may we bring forth your fruits of character in their season, may we learn how to support Jesus words. Amen

Words to support Jesus in our prayers:

  • Ps 1:1 Blessed is man who walks in Jesus.
  • Ps 1:2 We delight in the teachings of Jesus.
  • Ps 1:2 We think of the teachings all day.
  • Ps 1:3 We are like a tree
  • Ps 2:3 Planted by the Streams of Water.
  • Ps 1:3 May Jesus fruit in His season.
  • Ps 1:3 May we bring forth Jesus' leaves.
  • Ps 1:3 May the leaves of Jesus not wither.
  • Ps 1:3 May we do things together.
  • Ps 1:6 Jesus knows the straight ones.
  • Ps 1:6 Keep us on Your road O Lord.
  • Ps 1:6 Help us not stray, lest we perish.

  • Ps 2:6 I am your anointed
  • Ps 2:6 On Your holy hill at my home.
  • Ps 2:7 Let me be your Son Today.
  • Ps 2:7 May we continue Your Love.
  • Ps 2:7 Through your door of heaven.
  • Ps 2:7 Be with me in my home.
  • Ps 2:11 Work with the Father with fear.
  • Ps 2:12 Kiss the Home-Head of heaven,
  • Ps 2:12 You are my Home-Head.
  • Ps 2:12 Kiss the Son of heaven, our Jesus
  • Ps 2:12 We are blessed trusting Jesus.

  • Ps 3:2 We have Yeshua in Elohiym.
  • Ps 3:3 You are a shield for me.
  • Ps 3:4 I cry and You hear me.
  • Ps 3:5 When I sleep you sustain me.
  • Ps 3:6 I am not afraid of people.
  • Ps 3:7 Saviour, save me from my enemies.
  • Ps 3:8 Yeshua is Yahwah. Bless my song.

When you do fasting and prayer, for the first time, do things carefully and gradually, for all of us have many toxins to shed, and these give us headaches and pain, and smelly tastes in the mouth. We need to cleanse ourselves gradually.

The first thing I did, following Patricia Bragg's advice from her book on Water, is to research into the need for organic salt, or inorganic salt. Is there a difference? Why do we need the community friends in our gut to begin with? Why do plant roots have community associations around their root hairs as well? One gets the impression the smaller community friends (the fungi, the bacteria, and so on) were purposely designed by Jesus to assist in getting our food ready for us to ingest. Thus all the food one needs comes from the community friends, made as organic salt. Organic salt is a term for minerals taken up by the community of friends into complex minerals arranged around carbon atoms. Thus inorganic mineral Sodium ions with inorganic mineral Chlorine ions in water is a toxin to our bodies. Why is this? Because the minerals have electric charge and the cellular membrance cannot take one charge across the wall into the cell without disrupting the elecrical charges left behind. The charges will not balance, so the salt precipitpates out into solid salt in our joints, our brains and our heart, making us into stone, that slowly stop things working.

I asked the Lord Jesus why is the still small voice so quiet lately, and the voice I receive was to resolve the "tithe issue". It is very difficult living away in a town with no Church assembly each week, hence one cannot give our "tenth" each week, as the Hebrew word means. The principle of "tithe" is about helping others, sharing our resources with others, so Jesus can flow more of His love through you. The sharing comes with a promise:

Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes (maser) "tenth" into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Those of us wanting a "deeper flow of Jesus" into the Divine relationship, have to obey the "law of limiting factors". You cannot practice "fasting and prayer" unless other major obstacles to your experience is fixed first. And the Lord Jesus tells me this is currently the "tithing issue".

Using inorganic mineral salts in case "our experience of truth" might be wrong, is really OK. We are not to judge, others how they experience Jesus in their daily relationship. Where does the Holy Writings speak about this?

The whole of Romans chapter 14, talks about food, and those who lack support in Jesus, doubt the power flow of Jesus, so take supplements. Is this wrong? That is a decision between you and Jesus. We are not to judge. Your support with Jesus depends upon you. Jesus supports your decision. All of us have different amounts of Jesus flowing through us daily, but the reward in the end is the same. So do not judge our brothers and sisters.

Ro 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. (KJV)

Ro 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of support: for whatsoever is not of support is sin-offering. (Ancient Hebrew)

Support Jesus as best as you can, in the light you experience. But do not doubt the support of Jesus you give, otherwise you have to confess your missing His power flowing through you, and make sin-offering to Jesus. If we sow "Word Seed Promises" expect the power to flow in your heart. We hope for the flow, we cannot see, yet because we support Jesus, He does flow as He promises. Thank Him for flowing daily through you.

I have been eating no inorganic mineral Sodium Chloride for months now without ill effects. To replace my daily loss of Sodium, I eat lots of raw celery, which tastes salty because of the organic Sodium in the cells. The purpose of being a vegetable eater is to improve the flow of Jesus in our lives, doing all that the teachings of Jesus require, and obeying the voice of Jesus via the conscience of our mind.

Another thing I do is eat daily a small handful of raw greens, such as spring onion leaves, thyme leaves or basil leaves, sour thistle leaves (prickly I know), parsley leaves and the Australia bitter gumby gumby leaves, or if one is living in the Pacific, the bitter paw paw leaves, or if one is living in Europe, the olive oil leaves, as well as wild herbs of the field such a mellow and sorrel.

I dice them up and place them over my breakfast, and eat them raw with my regular food. Why? The "Greens" remove the cancer from our lives every day. The DNA inside the cells from wild herbs replace the damaged DNA components some of us may be missing. In my school days we were told foods are broken down to simple amino acids in the stomach. This is a common science myth. About half our food passes intact, DNA and all into our small intestine and we receive plant based DNA directly into our living cells, thus we can prolong the life of our own DNA and the damage daily done to the coils of information Jesus originally placed there.

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Here Paul speaks of the "appointed times when we come to Jesus" we are not to judge those who come to Jesus more regularly than others. Those who declare the "love feasts" of Jesus was abolished on the Cross, have no idea what the reason for the "appointed times coming to Jesus" was about. Humans traditionally call this term a "feast", the writings of Jesus via the SOP call the term in the latter rain, a "love feast". Really all followers of Jesus have "love feasts" to Jesus all the time, they just don't know it.

How often you say? Up to you... When? Again up to you?

Personally I practice "40 hour fasting" every Monday, and am currently trying a 3 day fast as well sometimes. The last time I tried this, my work colleague sent me home because I collasped from "pins and needles" in my right leg. I collasped when standing up, the leg refused to work for a while. They assumed it was because I was not eating in the dinning hall. So my longer fasting was interrupted. The important thing is you do these things slowly and carefully.

If you're really unwell, like a meat eater, begin not eating meat for six months first. This would be a fasting and prayer journey for you.

If your a Sodium Chloride salt eater, begin not eating mineral salt for three months first, eating raw vegetable substitutes first like raw celery, or raw seaweed. This struggle of mind would be a fasting and prayer journey for you.

Drink plenty of rain water you trust, not the manmade town water full of poisonous additions.

The principle of fasting and prayer, is a simile of the "unleavened bread", is about learning to do with less materialism, while inceasing the presence of Jesus in your life.

This website has no health messages as such for a reason, because peer review journals do not objectively research nutrition and health. So who am I to judge what you do or don't do. Our relationships with Jesus is a talk and walk based on His teachings, both the former rains and the latter rains, and even the lastest rains via Jesus and the pen of Ellen White during the prophetic times when the "special will be straightened" (Dan 8:14 ) The purpose of Jesus speaking to us in English in the latest rains, is for straightening the former teachings we have mis-understood. There is a health message in the former and latter rains, but as we approach the time of the end, mankind spoils our food more and more.

Here is the Hebrew word "unleavened bread", Strongs 4682, the pictograph reads "The flow travels travelling. Behold the Person!"

Jeff Benner sees "flat bread" as something we suck on so the lips moisten the bread first before we eat it.

Le 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread (matstsah) .

Notice the "appointed times to meet Jesus in the former rains, was on the 15th day of a certain month, the 14th day was hopping day, and the 15th day was unleaven week. So this was a fasting simile for a whole week. The chapter in Lev 23, does not really spell out why we have appointed times to Jesus. Let's find out more.

There are 42 contexts that use unleavened bread (matstsah) in the former teachings of Jesus. The Author will read all of them, but present only a few for the reader.

Ex 12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.

This verse tells us a practical reason for making flat bread, the followers of Jesus were in a hurry to leave Egypt, the simile of a life of missing, so they did not have time for old ways of food preparation.

Ex 13:6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD.

This verse tells us that the eating "flat bread" for seven days is a "Feast unto YHWH".

Here is the Hebrew word for feast, Strong's 2282, "chag". The pictograph reads "Outside walking" and refers to the joyous time we "Dance with Jesus" in circles of delight. A picture of "feast" is"-

How many "followers of Jesus" see a "Feast to Jesus" like this? A happy time of rejoicing with the feet outside? Most religions falsely assume the "feasts of Jesus" were nailed to His Cross? How sad. Than Jesus has a religion that is without joy, and His salvation is only solemn with abolished piles of His teachings.

Ex 13:8 And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

This verse tells us eating "flat bread" is about celebrating when Jesus saves us from missing, from the day of our baptism.

How many church assemblies have a week long celebration of a sinner being saved by Jesus from missing?

Those of us who say we should not celebrate Jesus saving us from missing regularly at appointed times, have missed what was added to the first of the Father's moral commandments:

Ex 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,

  • 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
  • 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me..

Here is the first of the Father's ten commandments...

In the scroll of Jesus, is written a poetry allegory about Jesus rescuing those found missing GOD's power in their lives:

Ho 13:4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.

So Jesus is our saviour is added to the Father's ten commandments from the beginning, is a festival reason why at appointed times we celebrate Jesus saving us from missing. Is this appointed time done only once since our day of baptism? Do we not need a Saviour to save us from missing after our baptism? Missing is a constant problem until we grow up in Jesus deeper and deeper, thus meeting Jesus at appointed times to thank Him is a constant celebration of gratitude as well.

Now let's see how Jesus spoke words to a prophet since 1844, to translate the meaning of "appointed times" the functional reasons for "unleavend bread", so we have understanding of the former rains, about this topic.

    But since the Lord presented before me, in June, 1863, the subject of meat eating in relation to health, I have left the use of meat. For a while it was rather difficult to bring my appetite to bread, for which, formerly, I had but little relish. But by persevering, I have been able to do this. I have lived for nearly one year without meat. For about six months most of the bread upon our table has been unleavened cakes, made of unbolted wheat meal and water, and a very little salt. We use fruits and vegetables liberally. I have lived for eight months upon two meals a day. {CD 482.3}

Notice the gradual progression of eating more with health...less meat, less salt and less manufactured foods, like yeasted bread. And even less eating times per day.

    (1) The ceremonies witnessed at Jerusalem in connection with the paschal service,the night assembly, the men with their girded loins, shoes on feet, and staff in hand, the hasty meal, the lamb, the unleavened bread, and the bitter herbs, and in the solemn silence the rehearsal of the story of the sprinkled blood, the death-dealing angel, and the grand march from the land of bondage,all were of a nature to stir the imagination and impress the heart. {Ed 42.2}

    (2)...uplifted all minds in gratitude to Him ... {Ed 42.3}

    (3) By the devout in Israel, fully a month of every year was occupied in this way. It was a period free from care and labor, and almost wholly devoted, in the truest sense, to purposes of education. {Ed 43.1}

    (4) Thus was given opportunity for more extended study, for social intercourse and worship, and for the exercise of benevolence, so often crowded out by life's cares and labors. {Ed 43.3}

    (5) Were the principles of God's laws regarding the distribution of property carried out in the world today, how different would be the condition of the people!

    (6) The consecration to God of a tithe of all increase, whether of the orchard and harvest field, the flocks and herds, or the labor of brain or hand, the devotion of a second tithe for the relief of the poor and other benevolent uses, tended to keep fresh before the people the truth of God's ownership of all, and of their opportunity to be channels of His blessings. It was a training adapted to kill out all narrowing selfishness, and to cultivate breadth and nobility of character. {Ed 44.2}

Notice Jesus uses the term "principles of God's law" to describe the topic of "prayer and fasting" and "unleavened bread"... those who consider the "appointed times were strictly adhered to with exactness" are making the "appointed times with Jesus return to legalism and formalism".

    So what are these principles?

  • ..impress the mind..
  • ..stir the imagination..
  • ..uplift gratitude..
  • ..develop the devout..
  • ..allow time for education..
  • ..allow time for extended devotion..
  • ..help the poor..
  • ..care for land, animals and plants..

Now those church assemblies who say these are shadows nailed to the Cross, are no longer required by followers of Jesus, are not researching into what the feasts of Jesus were actually for.

Notice in the latter rains of Jesus' teachings, He terms the feast a "love feast"

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; (KJV)

Notice the "prayer and fasting" is a process of developing "love feasts to Jesus" that"-

  • feed on Jesus with repsect
  • water others with Jesus rain
  • listen to the Holy Spirit
  • grow as trees of Jesus
  • grow fruits of Jesus
  • joyfully live for Jesus
  • relationally deepen in Jesus and
  • grow deeply in His teachings.
  • outside the feet dance joyfully to Jesus

This list is the real picture of the term "feast". Now if you do not experience these things during your experience with Jesus, as a result of fasting and prayer at appointed times, than your "love feasts" are formalism and legalism, you have not experienced Jesus, and need to go over what you are doing wrong, ask Jesus directly "Lord what am I missing?" And listen for the still small voice to answer.

For more, see SOP on love feast.

Here is a small journey into Scripture looking at the "appointed times" or "feasts unto Jesus".

Some say there is no blessing in the "appointed times" to Jesus?

Le 9:23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation (mowed) "appointed times", and came out, and blessed(barak) "blessed" the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.

  • 24 And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces. (KJV)

Imagine the Pastors of our Church meeting Jesus at appointed times, than coming out to bless the people with incredible wonders or miracles flowing through them for the assembly to see. Wow what a faithful powerful flow that would be. Is this perhaps why the Pastors want the "feasts of Jesus" nailed to the Cross, so they pasture the flock without power, without Jesus in their lives? When did your Pastor bless you last?

Re 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time`from the face of the serpent.

  • Da 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Here is the easiest way to cross reference the Greek translation of the Hebrew in the New Testament, using the word "mowed" with the Greek word "kairos".

Now let's see how "appointed times" were in the NT:-

Ac 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons (Greek kairos Hebrew mowed) "appointed times", which the Father hath put in his own power.

What is the "appointed time" the Father set in place?

Le 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto "appointed times" of the Father-YHWH, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my "appointed times".

  • `Le 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the "Ceasing-Day" "Festival",...(Ancient Hebrew)

The "appointed times" of the Father, is the Ceasing Day, or Weekly Sabbath, when the people cease business work, and do the outside dancing of joy around the heavenly Father. This is the greatest "appointed times" that Elohiym has written in His Ten Commandments.

Just as Jesus "Adds" to His Father's directions, when mankind did missing, so additional "appointed times" was added to the Father's "appointed times" so we can dance joyfully around Jesus, who liberates us from the penalty of missing, and with the joy of His salvation.

Ho 13:4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.

Notice Jesus "Adds" to His Father's love, Elohiym's redemptive love, this love also comes from the Father but is carried as a message by the Messenger of Jesus. So added to the Father's Appointed Times, are Jesus' appointed times.

Ac 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins (Greek hamartia Hebrew chataah) "sin-offerings" may be blotted out, when the times (Greek kairos Hebrew mowed) "appointed times" of refreshing (anapsuxis) shall come from the presence of the Lord;(KJV)

Here the appointed times help remove our sin-offering to Jesus, and such appointed times become a "refreshing to Jesus". This Greek word translated "refreshing" is found only here in the NT, and its meaning uncertain.

Ga 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

  • 10 Ye observe days, and months, and times `(kairos) "appointed times", and years.
  • 11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

What is Paul battling here? Legalism. The OT Jews made observing the "Ceremonial laws of YHWH" a terrible burden of formality.

Arn't we glad to have a Hebrew English translator, Jesus sent in the time of the end?

    With most of the people in the days of Christ, the observance of this feast had degenerated into formalism. But what was its significance to the Son of God! {DA 77.2}

Paul had to contend with legalistic Jews. When you become a true follower of Jesus as a Hebrew who has Crossed-over, you do the appointed times with joy and dancing, because these appointed times are designed to help you face terrible future times ahead.

The feast of unleavened bread is a time for prayer and fasting, to learn to do with less, and do with less rat racing, and more trusting in Jesus. Slow down and spend time in the things that matter. Why do motorists overtake other cars so rudely just to save a few seconds of their time? Is living about the seconds you spend alive? Or is living about the Person who choose to love and spend time with Him?

The practicing of a week of unleavened bread came after the Hopping Feast ( translated as Passover ), so doing this appointed time regularly helps us appreciate Jesus more and more, and causes our minds to hop more often to Jesus. Our minds associated with our will, often hop back and forth between Jesus as our ruler and "self" as our ruler. This process makes the flow of our character, lukewarm, sometimes Jesus flows in us "as hot", sometimes our "Baal master powers of self" flow in us "as cold", and so we develop a "lukewarm state". This condition is common in the last stages of church growth predicted for the end of time.

Re 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth (KJV)

And why do we hop in our minds so often, and not cross over to Jesus, as "Hopping Day" was all about, or what the NT "Hopping Day" is still all about, often translated by scholars as the "Lord's Ordinance", it is actually the OT Hopping Day renewed as the NT Hopping Day. Such a OT Hopping day was the last meal of lamb, and the first meal of unleavened bread, the symbols of Jesus changed during this feast. Ask your Pastor is the "Lord's Ordinance a Feast" and see what he says?

So what are these so called followers of Jesus doing wrong?

Re 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing;...(KJV)

We are rich? Really? Rich in materialism, rich in traditions of men, rich in socialism. But there is a drought in Jesus, a drought in His flow of power in their lives, and very occasionally do people allow Jesus to control their minds daily, as they hop over to Jesus as their daily master.

So we need to practice doing less, with less, and experiencing Jesus more. This is what Hopping Day and Unleavend Bread Week was a practice for. Getting your mind to hop over, or cross over to Jesus every minute of the day, more and more.

Where does this principle come from in Scripture?

Mt 5:2 And Jesus opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

  • 3 Blessed are the "humble" in spirit:
  • 4 Blessed are they that mourn:
  • 5 Blessed are the meek:.
  • 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:

Here Jesus is telling us what the "appointed times" to Jesus do for us, these statements parallel the Ten Commandments of the Father, for a reason...

They are added by Jesus, to help-mate us.

When you practice "fasting and prayer" and the "feast of doing less" and the "feast to hop over to Jesus" every day, or every week, your mind will mourn for what you have lost. We daily lose the powerful flow of Jesus through us. Wonders of Jesus will flow through us. We need to become humble and meek. We need to become more hungry and thirsty for Jesus.

    1Ti 6:15 Which in his times `(kairos) "appointed times" he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

Jesus will show us the "appointed times" so we can outside dance joyfully before Him! A feast is not about eating and gluttony, it's about dancing joyfully to Jesus. Who saved us. Who keeps on saving us. The "Early Christians in the NT times" practiced the "Hopping Feast" or "Lord's Ordinance" each weekly Sabbath; joyfully they took the Lord's Feast and ate the unleavened bread and drank the fresh juice of the vine, to celebrate Jesus saving them day by day.

Ac 17:30 And the times `(kairos) "appointed times" of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (KJV)

Here the babes in Jesus who did not understand the "appointed times" Jesus has established, He winks at our ignorance. Many of us need to turn back to Jesus.

Mt 11:25 At that time `(kairos) "appointed time" Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. (KJV)

How many of us are willing to study the NT in it's original language, ie Hebrew, too see that in fact the Hebrew word "appointed times" is here with the same meanings as the OT former rains.

1Co 7:5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time `(kairos) "appointed time", that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. (KJV)

Prayer and fasting is a process of appointed times, a part of the way we enjoy the feasts to Jesus, such things help us improve our wills to develop a better relationship to Him.

Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (KJV)

Sometimes the KJV spoils the Hebrew word and the sentence meaning. Notice the Ancient Hebrew translation:-

Eph 6:18 Praying at appointed times with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ancient Hebrew)

When are the appointed times for prayer?

Ec 11:6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. (KJV)

This is the similar times a tree or seedling drinks water, morning and evening.

Ga 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times `(kairos) "appointed times", and years.(KJV)

Paul speaks much about a problem in the Church in his day. People had turned back to "human works of the teachings"..

Ga 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Do we "return human works of the teachings" or legalism, practicing physical circumcision, and physically doing exactly what Moses told them to do in the OT Feast processes? No. That would be a bondage.

Ga 5:7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

Formalism and legalism is a dangerous thing, adding more human works to Jesus' salvation system.

Ga 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

So do we say all appointed times for feasts unto Jesus are abolished, nailed to the Cross? Than doing nothing as humans, we work better for Jesus? Yet we traditionally honour Christmas, Easter and Week of Prayer? Really folks, what was a "feast" for?

Ga 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (KJV)

This is a poor quotation from OT Hebrew, the translation should read

Ga 5:14 For all the teaching is complete in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as Jesus loves you.(Lev 19:18) (Ancient Hebrew)

Paul does not go on and say the teachings are abolished, or the feasts, but writes about "human works of the flesh" verses "supporting the teachings, and allowing Jesus to flow through you".

Ga 6:13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

There is no point keeping the feasts unto Jesus, if they do not make your relationshp with Jesus better. This would be a waste of time with more legalism.

Now let's swap the word "circumcsion" for "feast":-

Ga 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither "feast" availeth any thing, nor "no feast", but a new creature.

The purpose of "feasts unto Jesus" is to develop a better relationship to Him. Otherwise "Feast keeping" is nothing.

Ga 6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

So the Author would desire our church assemblies to practice at weekly appointed times all the feasts so we can develop a wonderful flow of Jesus through our lives. It's long overdue.

    Next we consider prayer 4.
