Why Jesus died, the "Relationship Exchange" of Christ on the cross, Being our own master, Jesus is "sent of GOD", prince of this world,

Q61: 68. "In the Outer Court"

Show the Desire of Ages is inspired..

(1) How additional relationships are made..(why Jesus died)

The seed buried in the ground produces fruit, and in turn this is planted. Thus the harvest is multiplied. So the death of Christ on the cross of Calvary will bear fruit unto eternal life. The contemplation of thissacrifice will be the glory of those who, as the fruit of it, will live through the eternal ages. The grain of wheat that preserves its own life can produce no fruit. It abides alone. Christ could, if Hechose, save Himself from death. But should He do this, He must abide alone. He could bring no sonsand daughters to God. Only by yielding up His life could He impart life to humanity. Only by fallinginto the ground to die could He become the seed of that vast harvest,--the great multitude that out ofevery nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, are redeemed to God.

Let's read through this SOP showing how it is inspired, and showing you, the reader, the Hebrew thought inside.

The seed buried in the ground produces fruit, and in turn this is planted.

Thus the harvest is multiplied. So the death of Christ on the cross of Calvary will bear fruit unto eternal life.

So the "Relationship Exchange" of Christ on the cross of Calvary will "bring partnered relationships of those who support Jesus" unto "ongoing living".

The first death in the Writings, called "maveth" 4194, translated as "death" , the pictograph reads "Flowing securely (towards the) Cross", is compared to a "sleep" where the person retains the knowledge of the relationship with GOD, and via the Holy Spirit, who lives in us all as "Relationship" can return your character back to Elohiym when you sleep, or return it back again when you wake from sleep. There is an immortal part to our "living energy" within us, and this is the presence of the Holy Spirit. The important thing to remember is the first death is a relationship severed, where God breaks away from your character, and you "Sleep" unaware of anything further, but the relationship recombination is not permanently lost.

The second death in the Writings is described as "Shaowl" 7585, an unknown place, where the pictograph reads "Pressed Strong Secure Authority". Here the relationship with GOD is permanmently severed and your character about you is permanently lost. You no longer exist, and GOD chooses never to bring you back.

Jesus was the only human ever born, different from Adam who had only a single relationship with GOD, Jesus was born of humanity with two relationships with GOD. Jesus had the relationship of His divinity with Elohiym, and the relationship of the Father flowing in His humanity (as we do) allowing humans to live with the "breath of life" administrated by the Holy Spirit living in us.

When Jesus went to the second death "shaowl" He exchanged one relationship for another, so He could raise Himself from "shaowl", while exchanging "eternal life" for "eternal death". His Father could not come into Shaowl to do this because Jesus died as the greatest sinner of them all, as the Sin-offering for a world of sins. It was Jesus own relationship with Elohiym, His divinity, that rose from the dead, but He also left a power of His divinity behind, His omnipresence, because now Jesus is enscapsulated within a human body forever. We too, at the last trump also put on Jesus divinity, as our relationships are exchanged, the first one for the second one, thus we live forever as Jesus lives forever, and our gratitude to our Saviour is permanently engraved to Him.

< img src='images/seed5.jpg' width=30%>Inside a seed are six parts. When the seed germinates, the "life germinating principle" comes alive and imparts action to the shoot and root.

The fruit of a seedling is the reproduction of the "life germinating principle" within the plant, and this "principle" is the "personal presence of Jesus" that promises new life in you if you choose to Sow Jesus as a Seed in your life.

The contemplation of thissacrifice will be the "glorious beauty" of those who, as the fruit of it, will live through the eternal ages.

Imagine such a gift!

"Come unto Me all ye who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28

Taking these words from Jesus, as His Seed, and planting them in your mind as His Promise, you are saved by Jesus. So simple even a child can do it. Amazing beautiful grace. Jesus germinates in you, and so we are partnered in relationship with Him.

(2) Being our own master..

The life spent on self is like the grain that is eaten. It disappears, but there is no increase. A man maygather all he can for self; he may live and think and plan for self; but his life passes away, and he hasnothing. The law of self-serving is the law of self-destruction.

The Hebrew word "baal" is used by the SOP as "Self", and refers to the way we choose to live as we please. However we cannot rule ourselves alone. No man is an island. Either we are partnered to God or we are partnered to Satan.

    (3) The Sent of God

"The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake toHim." But the inquiring Greeks saw the cloud, heard the voice, comprehended its meaning, anddiscerned Christ indeed; to them He was revealed as the Sent of God.The voice of God had been heard at the baptism of Jesus at the beginning of His ministry, and again atHis transfiguration on the mount. Now at the close of His ministry it was heard for the third time, by alarger number of persons, and under peculiar circumstances. Jesus had just spoken the most solemntruth regarding the condition of the Jews.

Lu 20:13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.(KJV)

Those who see Jesus as not "pre-existing" have a problem with Jesus own parables...He is the one "sent" of God. A sinless human born of God, is not one Sent of GOD.

Many translators in the OT see "an angel of YHWH" not the one "sent" by YHWH. This is what "malak" means, a "messenger carrying a message" a Being "Sent" by GOD.

    (4) The Prince of this world..

"Now is the judgment of this world," Christ continued; "now shall the prince of this world be cast out.And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all unto Me. This He said, s ignifying what death Heshould die." This is the crisis of the world.

Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince (Greek archon) of this world be cast out.

The phrase "archon kosmos" is mentioned four times in the NT.

Mt 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub (Hebrew word of Chaldee 1176) the prince ( Greek archon "chief ruler") of the devils.

This verse is showing "archon" means "chief ruler".

Lu 14:1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief (archon "chief ruler") Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.

Notice the way the Writings should explain themselves, consistently with word meanings.

Lu 23:13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests (Greek "archiereus" "highest ruler" ) and the rulers (Greek archon "chief ruler" ) and the people,

Notice a related word to "archon" is "archiereus", meaning "highest ruler".

    Joh 12:42  Nevertheless among the chief rulers (Greek archon) also many believed on him;

Why even the KJV translates the meaning of "archon" correctly sometimes... why they do not do this for every word is because they do not believe the Greek or Hebrew has a single consistent meaning, but different shades of meaning depending upon context.

There is another Greek word for "ruler", as shown here:-

Mt 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler (Greek "kathistemi" ) over his household, to give them meat in due season?

For more, as an example "how to study Scripture correctly"

  • "kathistemi" study .

Now notice the Hebrew term for the Greek spelling of "Beelzebub"

2Ki 1:3 But the angel (Malak "messenger") of the LORD (YHWH "Father YHWH") said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

Who is the "messenger of Father YHWH" ? Jesus is, not an angel, which is written as "cherub" not "malak", although sometimes a "cherub" can be a "messenger".In this case Jesus is a "chief ruler" opposing "Baal"zebub", who is another "chief ruler".

For more, showing "Baal" is a Hebrew word meaning "Master"

  • "Baal" as Master .
  • "Baal" as Pagan idol

The Hebrew word "baal" refers to a "chief ruler" who rules over our soul, as we choose to master our own lives, and this chief ruler is Satan.

1Ch 21:1 And Satan (Hebrew "Satan") stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.

Here is an example here, using the Hebrew word "satan".

Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

In this example, Satan is allowed to visit YHWH and talk to Him, as the chief ruler of earth.

Ps 109:6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

When one is at the right hand of a person, that Being becomes your main influence, thus a wicked person is empowered by a Being called Satan.

Zec 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

  • 2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
  • 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
  • 4 And he answered and spake unto t hose that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

Joshua here is spelled in Hebrew "Yeshua" a spelling of Jesus. The "messenger of YHWH" or translated "angel of YHWH" is Jesus, the ONE SENT from the FATHER.

The proclamation "take off his filthy clothes" is Jesus providing His salvation to Joshua, the "highest ruler" in the sanctuary for salvation, represents Jesus, who comes to die for our sin-offerings.

This is why Jesus says in the NT, "if I be lifted up" will remove "the chief ruler of this world".

Jeff Benner has investigated the Greek word "achron" 758, and found many possible Hebrew words that correspond to "chief ruler" in Hebrew in the OT:-

  • (1) "melek" 4428 meaning "King" The male rulerof a nation.
  • "nasiy" 5387 meaning "Captain" The chief ruler of a body of troops.
  • "rosh" 7218 meaning "Head " The top of thebody.
  • "sar" 8269 meaning "prince" The chief ruler withoutstanding qualities or properties. Of high birth orexalted rank. One who has authority.

Looking over these Hebrew words quickly in this brief study, the Hebrew word "sar" seems the closest match to "archon",and explains why the KJV translates "archon" as "prince of this world" is a reference to Satan.

Is there a Writing to confirm this idea?

Da 10:13 But the prince "sar" of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes "sar", came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

  • Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince "sar" of Peace.

Here is Holy Writing evidence both Satan and Jesus are referenced as "sar". The Hebrew term "satan" means "adversary", a Wicked Relationship that opposes God's Relationship. So the reference "Prince of Persia" refers to a human power partnered to Satan, a spirit power, and this relationship is called "satan" an adversary against GOD as a Divine Relationship.

The Jews claim their religion is different from all others because it refers to monothesism, or the worship of one GOD. But this is a distorted concept from misunderstanding the Hebrew word "elohiym" which means "the Strong Authority of our Heavenly Father, whose heavenly power flows", and "Elohiym" is a single system generating love by "Divine Relationship", and is thus a "Family concept" pictured in the NT, but not pictured in the OT. The reason for this is because "families" have a Son that continues the family...whereas Elohiym had no beginning, or is subject to time or origin. However when Elohiym sends their one and only, to earth to add humanity to divinity, Jesus becomes a simile of family, that continues the family line of Elohiym, as humans born of Jesus, become like Jesus, and Jesus becomes our everlasting Father of this family of redeemed.

For Holy Writing support of this:-

  • Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
  • 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
  • 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit (ruwach) "Holy Spirit" in the inner man;

  • Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father (ad- ab), The Prince (sar) of Peace.

  • Ex 21:23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,
