love as relationship, love begats love, do we love the giving or the giver? the essence of salvation, the SOP is a Hebrew to English translator

Q50: 57. "One Thing Thou Lackest"

Show the Desire of Ages is inspired..

(1) Love as relationship..

Christ looked into the face of the young man, as if reading his life and searching his character. Heloved him, and He hungered to give him that peace and grace and joy which would materially changehis character.

Mr 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him,...

Love for Christ was awakening in the ruler's heart; for lovebegets love. Jesus longed to see him a co-worker with Him. He longed to make him like Himself, amirror in which the likeness of God would be reflected. He longed to develop the excellence of hischaracter, and sanctify it to the Master's use. If the ruler had then given himself to Christ, he wouldhave grown in the atmosphere of His presence. If he had made this choice, how different would havebeen his future!

Notice in such simple terms the SOP says "love borns love" is saying that love only exists in relationship, not alone in self.

If "love borns love", we can predict in the Writings one Hebrew word for "love that produces" and another Hebrew word for "love that receives". Thus there would be two Hebrew words for "functional love". We would also find there is no Hebrew word for "loving self".

But the young rich man thought his love as materially producing, was sufficient for him receiving eternal life.

"One thing thou lackest," He said; "go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to thepoor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."

Here Jesus completes the circuit of love, by asking the young rich man who was producing his love materially, did not receive his love materially by receiving love from others who share in his love.

He needed the love of God in the soul. Thislack, unless supplied, would prove fatal to him; his whole nature would become corrupted. By indulgence, selfishness would strengthen. That he might receive the love of God, his supreme love of self must be surrendered.

Why does the SOP say "self must be surrendered"? There is no Hebrew word for "Self" and no Hebrew word for "surrender". The SOP is writing the Hebrew into a new language called English. The Hebrew word for "self" is Baal which means "master" or "self". The Hebrew word for "surrender" is "subdue".

The Spirit of Prophecy says ..."love begats love"

Thus there is a love that provides and a love that receives. Thus love only exists in relationship. The problem for the young rich man was he was materially loving others by providing for them and thus his riches came from himself. That is not how love works. Love is not a producer producing. Love is also not a receiver receiving. Love is relational, and a circuit of giving and receiving, or sharing one from the other.

Love is the reaction and action of relationship in circuit. Consider this simple object lesson.

Inside a battery are three functional components. The cathode acts as "maleness-love" that produces. The anode acts as "femaleness-love" that receives. The medium acts as an agency that carries the response of loving between these two "Persons" in relationship, and thus can "store potential love" or "conduit electrical love" depending upon circuit needs in the family home.

When "love conducts" itself out of a bat tery, the "maleness-love" travels in one direction and the "femaleness-love" travels in the opposite direction around the circuit. (So our current science theory believes.)

So if we practice only the love of producing admiration for GOD, but we do not practice the sharing of that loving by GOD, unto others we share our love with, our loving becomes selfish, self centered and breaks away from relationship.

But the young man was sharing his love, so he thought. Notice Jesus quotes the "femaleness-love commandments"

Mr 10:19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.

Jesus quotes commandments "7, 6, 8, 9 and finally 5. He leaves out commandment 10, "do not desire materialism, desire relationship".

The man was desiring the materials from love, but not the relationships from love. Consider what happens when a huge electrical generator is connected only to a single tiny light bulb. The tiny little light bulb consumes a little energy, but where does the huge amount of electrical power produced inside the generator go? It stays inside the generator slowly destroying the generator itself. Selfishness destroys a rich man in his riches. For only a small generator can run a lowly poor home, but a larger richer generator can power many networks of relationships, or many dozens of homes. Their is nothing wrong with riches, the problem is the failure to increase the network of giving and receiving.

(2) Do we love the Giver or the Giving?

The cost of eternal life seemed too great, and he went awaysorrowful; "for he had great possessions."His claim that he had kept the law of God was a deception. He showed that riches were his idol. Hecould not keep the commandments of God while the world was first in his affections. He loved the giftsof God more than he loved the Giver.

Coming to the world annually

  • as Satan,
  • is Santa.

"The pressed authority over the nations towards an important mark is his authority".

Do we love the Presents or the Presenter?

Children are taught every year to love the materialism. We are made of matter so we are taught to love matter.

By human endeavour we do "humans on matter" or "technology" and thus learn to love "technology". The OT writings call "technology" idols.

We were made from the Divine technology of GOD upon matter, thus Divine Relationship causes us to exist and GOD supplies man with a simile of the Divine: the development of our character. But do we want a Divine character? Do we love relationship?

Yeshua 13:6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.

How sad those who love Jesus, love the gifts of Jesus, and so rise in pride and forget Jesus.

We love the giving but not the giver. That is not love. That is false love, known as selfishness.

Revelation of Yeshua 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Even in Jesus latter rain, "christians" love the giving rather than the giver. What kind of love is this? Satanic...false love...selfish love...Santa supplies..

Re 2:14 But I have a few things against th ee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

  • 1Jo 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

These two writings are saying the same thing. Some of us love the giving rather than the giver. We are trapped into materialism, technology and the traditional trappings of humanism.Instead we are to love the Giver of love and respond in relationship with fellowship love to that Love. Only than is the love circle a complete circuit. Only than is God's love as a marriage complete with mankind.

    (3) What is the essence of salvation ?

Self-surrender is thesubstance of the teachings of Christ. Often it is presented and enjoined in language that seemsauthoritative, because there is no other way to save man than to cut away those things which, ifentertained, will demoralize the whole being.

In the OT, in Jesus' former torah teachings there is only one verse that explains clearly salvation (Jesus name in English) to the Hebrew people:

Hab 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.(KJV)

Hab 2:4 Behold, his "energy" is lifted up and not "straight": the "straightened ones" have "ongoing living" by their "support" (Ancient Hebrew).

Did Israel get salvation? Not many...Few understood the process of getting Jesus in their lives.

So in the latter rain, Jesus translates His Hebrew words into Greek for the Gentiles: again only a single verse explains how to receive Jesus (Jesus name in Greek)

Ro 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. (KJV from Greek)

Ro 10:3 For they being ignorant of Elohiym's straightness, and going about to establish their own straightness, have not subdued themselves unto the straightness of Elohiym. (Ancient Hebrew)

Did the Gentiles get the idea of being "subdued by God" ? Some did. So Jesus translates his Hebrew teaching into English from 1844 to a prophet of the end of time, for the world people living in the end of time:

Self-surrender is thesubstance of the teachings of Christ.

Do we understand ? In Hebrew it would say Baal-Subdue is thesubstance of the torah-teachings of Yeshua-Christ.

In simple terms for those of child like faith, inside all of us lives our will to do as we please. We must give this will to do as we please to Jesus, and do instead His will in our lives, by supporting Jesus words of power in our lives.

In the OT times Yeshua wrote His salvation in Hebrew for the Hebrew people. But many did not understand.

In the NT times Jesus wrote His Salvation in Hebrew but it was translated into Greek for the Gentile people. But many did not understand.

And finally in the time of the end Jesus translates His Hebrew writings of salvation into English, the universal language of the world living in the end of time. But many do not undertand.

Do we realize the functional role of Ellen White and His torah teaching message in English for the people living in the end of time?

Do we know that the SOP is Hebrew in English, in a language we of English culture understand?

Read the SOP and study the SOP carefully in English and know absolutely you are studying Jesus' words in Hebrew. The salvational messag e has not changed. Only the language of receiving the Hebrew has. Shalom
