Jesus a master of speech, scholars destroy Bible, defining law or torah, men decieved by "greys" and "reptile people", Jesus works in us quietly

Q19: 26. . . . At Capernaum..

Show the Desire of Ages is inspired..

(1) Jesus was a master of speech..

His voice was as music to those who had listened to the monotonous tones ofthe rabbis. But while His teaching was simple, He spoke as one having authority. This characteristic setHis teaching in contrast with that of all others.

His messages of mercy were varied to suit His audience. He knew "how to speak a word in season tohim that is weary" (Isa. 50:4); for grace was poured upon His lips, that He might convey to men in themost attractive way the treasures of truth. He had tact to meet the prejudiced minds, and surprise themwith illustrations that won their attention.Through the imagination He reached the heart. Hisillustrations were taken from the things of daily life, and although they were simple, they had in them awonderful depth of meaning. The birds of the air, the lilies of the field, the seed, the shepherd and thesheep,--with these objects Christ illustrated immortal truth; and ever afterward, when His hearerschanced to see these things of nature, they recalled His words. Christ's illustrations constantly repeatedHis lessons.

Christ never flattered men. He never spoke that which would exalt their fancies and imaginations, nordid He praise them for their clever inventions; but deep, unprejudiced thinkers received His teaching, and found that it tested their wisdom.

Mr 9:15 And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him

Jesus knew how to speak because the Holy Spirit and His Father flowed through Jesus mouth. He knew all things when He saw men, because of relationship with GOD.

And if the message of the Holy Writings is simple, why do "saved people" invent words to make things complex?

And if Jesus works in us as a mystery, why do the "saved" grapple to add complex undertandings to this?

And if we are saved by relationship, we have to trust Jesus, and grow through His faith, in His power, allowing Him daily to flow through us... the same way Jesus did when He was on earth with the Holy Spirit and His Father...

(2) Scholars destroy Jesus teachings..

History is repeating. With the open Bible before them, and professing to reverence its teachings, manyof the religious leaders of our time are destroying faith in it as the word of God. They busy themselveswith dissecting the word, and set their own opinions above its plainest statements. In their hands God'sword loses its regenerating power.

For example many make the "law" into some confined horrible set of commandments, as if a lawyer or exacting law-maker published their exacting dictate for humans...

Ro 8:3 For what the law (nomos) (torah) "teachings" could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,

Why is the teachings weakened by our flesh? Because our first relationship with GOD that gives life to our flesh through relationship is broken...because we are found missing...sinning...

So how does the Holy Writings define "law" or "torah" ?

Jos 24:26 And Joshua (Yeshua) wrote (kathab) these words (dabar) in the book (cepher) of the law(torah) of God(elohiym),

Many question "law" as the first five books of Moses, but su ch a definition is not "law", but coming from scholars who destroy Jesus teachings. The term "law" or "nomos" or "torah" simply means "teachings", and here in this verse we see Jesus represented by Joshua writing (the same Greek word for Scriptures) down His words in a scroll called "teachings of Elohiym" in other words a sixth book... so much for man's definitions of "law"...the first five books of Moses..

And here is another passage:-

2Ch 15:3 Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching (yarah) priest, and without law (torah).

Notice "yorah and torah" are related words, but notice the change in spellings...Hebrew does have vowels contrary to scholar customs, but they have spoiled Hebrew words with added spellings... so ordinary people never see words being related...

  • Yorah means to "Teach"
  • Torah means "Teachings"

In the NT wasn't Jesus called "rabbi" which means "teacher" because Jesus teachings was what He spoke about?

Jesus was NOT a lawyer and did not magnify "law"...so stop listening to the customs and traditions of men, who destroy Jesus teachings...

However, some people of child like faith, accept the word "law", and this is OK. They say since Adam sinned even natural "laws" fell into chaos. And such thinking is true. The teachings of GOD do have broad and deep consequences ... so "law" is a reasonable concept to picture the "teachings of GOD"... Though many people view GOD's "laws" as harsh. Perhaps they are, for even natural law is exacting and perfect. GOD is even subject to "laws" and cannot destroy or change "laws" in any way. This allows mankind to see GOD as predictable and always full of love. Thus while "law" is a narrow picture of "teaching"; such a picture does have some benefits, as long as you see "teachings" as a broader meaning of the Hebrew word "torah".

The Spirit of Prophecy quotes Isaiah 50:4

"Isa 50:4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season"

The SOP is suggesting the "me" or "I" who speaks in season is Jesus, but the overall passage suggests "Lord Adonay YHWH" is Jesus..so here is some possible confusion in OT writings. Often the OT writings have dual applications. There are many places where YHWH seems to speak of Himself as more than one Being, and places where YHWH speaks of man as if YHWH is speaking of Himself...in other words the LORD Adonay JESUS is speaking to Isaiah, as one who speaks a word in season, is actually Jesus in heaven, making a prophecy of a Jesus as a man, speaking about Himself when He comes as a man on earth "speaking a word in season"...Hope this makes sense...We see such applications in many other places:-

  • Joshua means Yeshua which means Jesus as a figure in OT times as a man...
  • Moses was a elohiym person on earth, as Jesus is a elohiym person in heaven, to come as a man on earth...
  • Yoshuea (hosea) is a scroll about the Father asking Jesus, his Son (in figure, coming as a human) to marry humans caught in adultery, (us, those who seek salvation through marriage) ...and this scroll spells out the "salvation of Jesus" .

There are many other examples of this, and it confuses many...some theories of faith say Jesus never pre-existed in OT times...but there are dozens of verses and applications that Jesus is Elohiym as the Father is Elohiym and the Holy Spirit is Elohiym.

    See other studies regarding this.

See discussions that Jesus pre-existed .

  • (3) Man is deceived by the "greys"..

When Satan has undermined faith in the Bible, he directs men to other source s for light and power. Thus he insinuates himself. Those who turn from the plain teaching of Scripture and the convictingpower of God's Holy Spirit are inviting the control of demons.Side by side with the preaching of the gospel, agencies are at work which are but the medium of lyingspirits. Many a man tampers with these merely from curiosity, but seeing evidence of the working of amore than human power, he is lured on and on, until he is controlled by a will stronger than his own.He cannot escape from its mysterious power

Re 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael ("who is like Elohiym") and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

  • 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
  • 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

  • Da 10:21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

Do you know "Michael" which means "who is like Elohiym" is a "Prince" and holds the "writings of truth" ? An angel is not a prince, nor do you send commanders into war who are the same as your pawns of war, you send in generals who are as important as the Father is... Jesus is the only Being who fits this chief angel...and does the Writings describe both Satan and Jesus as angels? Yes it does...

Nu 21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent (saraph) "Being of angelic functions", and set it upon a pole:

Bible translators do not show the reader the Hebrew word "saraph", rather the translators cover over the Hebrew word, because it makes no sense and show "serpent" instead...so why do humans trust translators? There is no errors in our Bibles in Hebrew, the Hebrew word there for readers to read, the problem is we trust humans translators too much...

  • Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub (cherub) "Being like an angel" that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
  • 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
  • Isa 14:29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent (saraph).

The angel that sinned in heaven is referenced as a "cherub" which are angels as a kind of creation...the cherub is also referenced as a "saraph" which is a way cherub function...Why this ? Because Hebrew is about functions not descriptions...We read the Saraph have six wings and look weird because of poetry pictures, but Hebrew is about actions....not describing things... While the Holy Writings says Satan is a cherub and functions as a saraph, the Holy Writings do not say Jesus is a cherub, but does say Jesus functions as saraph.

  • Isa 6:2 Above it stood the seraphims (saraph): each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
  • 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory

Notice the serpent on a pole, was a figure of two angel like Beings who stood around the Father's throne, Satan and Jesus.. and which one you looked to in faith, saved you from the serpents bite of sin..

So the "greys" that deceive the world, are the fallen angels of Sata n, impersonating humans with deception...

  • Isa 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
  • 19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

When you talk to worldly people about God, they are fully confident in the "greys" because they see videos of the USA taking flying saucers, and outer space creatures, even videos of greys talking and doing things as a wonder for the camera...And such signs and wonders are convincing.... and what is GOD's signs and wonders?

  • Isa 8:20 To the law (torah) "teachings" and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Jesus promises only the words in the Holy Wrtings as His signs and wonders...pretty boring in comparison isn't it ? no video...people do not read Hebrew...it's boring to read...easier to watch...We have a problem here with witnessing today...since the teachings are just words of Hebrew....but they do have power...

  • Isa 29:14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder:
  • Isa 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
  • 19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD,...

Notice the wonder of miracles is an increase in meekness, that comes from people reading the Holy Writings about Jesus teachings..

    (4) Overcoming the "reptile people" ..

The means by which we can overcome the wicked one is that by which Christ overcame,--the power ofthe word. God does not control our minds without our consent; but if we desire to know and to do Hiswill, His promises are ours: "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Many "saved people" say they are judged only by the light they receive and live by. That is true. Jesus does judge us this way... But notice the promise...Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.... free from what ? Sin...yes all kinds of missing God's power, our health, our spiritual minds, the miracle powers of Jesus.

But also surely free from spiritual errors...yes free from those things too...but too many of us simply trust our translators, and our human customs and traditions... the assembly of people we go to meet with often becomes a religious experience...we become a group of socially minded and spiritually minded people, without thinking what the Holy Writings really say... in fact often we live without reading the Holy Writings at all...

    (5) Jesus prays early in the morning ..

The long, exciting day was past, and Jesus sought rest. But while the city was still wrapped in slumber, the Saviour, "rising up a greatwhile before day, . . . went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed."

He went away to the sanctuary of the mountains for communion withHis Father. Often He passed the entire night in prayer and meditation, returning at daybreak to Hiswork among the people.

Ec 11:6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

  • 7 Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:

  • Mr 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

The Hol y Writings say praying is a poetry picture of sowing seeds. Such sowing is done best early in the morning before the sun rises, and late in the evening. This is also the best times plants drink water and food with that drinking. Jesus is found praying following these teachings, which are recorded for us: the teachings of Jesus.

    (6) Jesus works on us quietly ..

The Sun of Righteousness did not burst upon the world in splendor, to dazzle the senses with His glory. It is written of Christ, "His going forth is prepared as the morning." Hosea 6:3. Quietly and gently thedaylight breaks upon the earth, dispelling the shadow of darkness, and waking the world to life. So didthe Sun of Righteousness arise, " with healing in His wings (kanaph) "coverings"." Mal. 4:2.

Ho 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

This verse is profound as SOP identifies "YHWH" here as Jesus, whose going forth as the morning is like the former and latter rain. This makes the OT the former rain and the NT the latter rain...Strange how people ignore the OT altogether as rains from Jesus, when this verse combines Jesus teachings as rain...

Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Again the SOP indentifies the YHWH of hosts, the "sun of righteousness" as Jesus, who comes with healing in His wings "coverings".

The (kanaph) "coverings" or "wings" is a special functional feature of the power of the Holy Spirit.

If the reader reads through Ezekiel chapter 1, the whole passage starts with a whirlwind (ruwach) which is the Holy Spirit functioning as fire whirling over itself, and later as flying creatures with "kanaph" or coverings or wings of the Holy Spirit.Ezekiel is describing the functions of what he sees, how the Godhead appeared to him. First there is extensive verses about the Holy Spirit, culminating with the Shadday who overseers a host of angels, before the throne.

Eze 1:24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty (Shadday), the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

Soon after we are introduced to YHWH Jesus, the Sun of righteousness upon the throne...

Eze 1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD (YHWH). And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
