Lord master

(181) 1Ki 18:7 And as Obadiah was in the way , behold, Elijah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face , and said , Art thou that my lord (adown) Elijah ?

.. Art thou that my lord (adown) Elijah ?

Out of respect KJV even calls Elijah, 'lord' what would Hebrew say ? 'Lord' of course...

(182) 1Ki 18:8 And he answered him, I am: go , tell thy lord (adown) , Behold, Elijah is here.

.. tell thy lord (adown)..

(183) 1Ki 18:10 As the LORD thy God liveth , there is no nation or kingdom , whither my lord (adown) hath not sent to seek thee: and when they said , He is not there; he took an oath of the kingdom and nation , that they found thee not.

.. whither my lord (adown) hath not..

(184) 1Ki 18:11 And now thou sayest , Go , tell thy lord (adown) , Behold, Elijah is here.

.. Go , tell thy lord (adown)..

(185) 1Ki 18:13 Was it not told my lord (adown) what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the LORD , how I hid an hundred men of the LORD'S prophets by fifty in a cave , and fed them with bread and water ?

.. my lord (adown) ..

(186) 1Ki 18:14 And now thou sayest , Go , tell thy lord (adown) , Behold, Elijah is here: and he shall slay me.

.. Go , tell thy lord (adown)..

(187) 1Ki 20:4 And the king of Israel answered and said , My lord (adown) , O king , according to thy saying , I am thine, and all that I have.

. . and said , My lord (adown) , O king..

(188) 1Ki 20:9 Wherefore he said unto the messengers of Benhadad , Tell my lord (adown) the king , All that thou didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do : but this thing I may not do . And the messengers departed , and brought him word again .

.Tell my lord (adown) the king ,..

(189) 1Ki 22:17 And he said , I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills , as sheep that have not a shepherd : and the LORD said , These have no master (adown) : let them return every man to his house in peace .

.. the LORD said , These have no lord (adown) ..

Why would YHWH say these poor sheep have no shepherd, say they have no 'master'..since this is a typology of the LORD wanting to rule over his lost, He would say they have no 'Lord'..

(190) 2Ki 2:3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha , and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master (adown) from thy head to day ? And he said , Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace .

.. will take away thy Lord (adown) from thy head..
