(51) Ps 57:3 He shall send from heaven , and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up . Selah . God shall send forth his mercy and his truth (emeth) .

God shall send forth his mercy and his truth (emeth) ..

A very interesting passage. First the entire passage.

  • Be merciful unto me, O God (Elohiym -The FAMILY of GOD), be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings ( an idiom of the Holy Spirit) will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
  • 2 I will cry unto God (Elohiym - the Family of GOD) most high;( the Father is identified here) unto God ( el- one of singular Strong Authority) that performeth all things for me.
  • 3 He (the Father) shall send from heaven, and save me ( The Father saves us because He sends...) from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah.
  • God (Elohiym- the Family of GOD) shall send forth his mercy and his truth (symbol of the Holy Spirit).

    Notice the Father, is identified as one who saves (Yasha) us, because the Father SENDS... two poetry symbols...

  • Mercy ( I suspect a symbol of Jesus)
  • Truth ( a symbol of the Holy Spirit)

    (52) Ps 57:10 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens , and thy truth (emeth) unto the clouds .

    For thy mercy is great unto the heavens , and thy truth (emeth) unto the clouds..

    Mercy and truth are TWO symbols of Beings I suspect carrying the Father's flow of love unto salvation.

    (53) Ps 61:7 He shall abide before God for ever : O prepare mercy and truth (emeth) , which may preserve him.

    .. O prepare mercy and truth (emeth) ..

    (54) Ps 69:13 � But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD , in an acceptable time : O God , in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth (emeth) of thy salvation .

    .. hear me, in the truth (emeth) of thy salvation.

    Through the prayer to Elohiym ( the Family of GOD) comes mercy and truth.

    (55) Ps 71:22 I will also praise thee with the psaltery , even thy truth (emeth) , O my God : unto thee will I sing with the harp , O thou Holy One of Israel .

    .. even thy truth (emeth) , O my God :

    Truth is proclaimed from GOD (Elohiym - the Family of GOD)

    (56) Ps 85:10 Mercy and truth (emeth) are met together ; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

    .. Mercy and truth (emeth) are met together..

    Notice these two aspects of love come together..

    (57) Ps 85:11 Truth (emeth) shall spring out of the earth ; and righteousness shall look down from heaven .

    .. Truth (emeth) shall spring out..

    In this Psalm we are saved (Yasha) by GOD.. and truth comes because of this..

    . O LORD ; I will walk in thy truth (emeth) : unite my heart to fear thy name .

    .. O LORD ; I will walk in thy truth (emeth) ..

    We walk with YHWH in His truth, showing parallel in the New Testament when we walk with Jesus via the Comforter who is the Spirit of Truth.

    (59) Ps 86:15 But thou, O Lord , art a God full of compassion , and gracious , longsuffering , and plenteous in mercy and truth (emeth) .

    .. gracious , longsuffering , and plenteous in mercy and truth (emeth) ..

    A list of love characteristics from Adonay, the singular one of Strong Authority, is also full of truth...

    (60) Ps 89:14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne : mercy and truth (emeth) shall go before thy face .

    ... mercy and truth (emeth) shall go before thy face.

    Both mercy and truth walk with us during salvation's path.
