  • See Ancient Hebrew Research Center
  • Here in Jeff Benner's Lexicon of all Hebrew words, we find a word meaning "angel", in fact anything mighty, the "Strong home active Head" describes a BEING who is strong and active with hands, around the home.

Method: All verses in the OT are studied and samples shown here.

Conclusion: The word "abiyr" is claimed by Jesus, as a lord, Lord, mighty one, shepherd, redeemer, rock of Israel, and messenger of Yahweh.

Discussion: See samples of a heavenly "mighy one"..

    (1) Ge 49:24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

Notice the mighty one is a shepherd and a stone.

    (2) Ps 132:2 How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

Notice the mighty one is a simile of the powers of Yahweh.

    (3) Ps 132:5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

Notice the mighty one habitats where Yahweh is.

    (4) Isa 1:24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

Notice the mighty one is avenges the enemies of Yahweh.

    (5) Isa 49:26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Notice the mighty one is a Redeemer and Saviour for mankind.

    (6) Isa 60:16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. (KJV)

Notice the mighty one who provides for Gentiles.

    (7) Isa 1:24 Therefore saith the Lord "Adown", the LORD "Yahweh" of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies.

Both Hebrew words are translated as Lord, and it's confusing also in the Greek of the NT. But notice the "mighty one" is a simile of "lord" also of "LORD" and also the "mighty one of Israel". The poetry of the Bible makes this clear, that the "mighty one" is "lord" "Yahweh" and "abiyr".

Conclusion: The word "abiyr" is claimed by Jesus, as a lord, Lord, mighty one, shepherd, redeemer, rock of Israel, and messenger of Yahweh.

Next we will consider another Hebrew word meaning "angel".
