(8) Examples of Genuine Faith
The Bible defines genuine faith here:
Ho 14:2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say him, ...
So... "take with you words"
So... "take with you seeds"
"turn to the LORD",
is about Attitude of Gratitude,
"say to Him", - is about speaking a "Faith-Promise".
in your mind - or formally on bended knee
Examples:
(1) If you cannot hear God talking to you, ask for the still small voice of God in your conscience and learn to recognize the voice inside of your head:
Isa 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. (KJV as it reads)
Romans 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, (KJV as it reads)
"Dear Lord "let me hear your word, let me listen to you talking in my conscience" (Faith promise)
(2) In your mind there are many "little bits" of verses you say all the time, as Sister White calls them "precious promises". Speak them to the Lord all the time, make a collection of your own faviourite ones, and say them all the time, expecting Jesus flow of divine power in your life, because you ask. This is genuine faith.
Ps 3:3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. (KJV)
Notice the process: "take with you words, saying them meekly to Jesus in prayer" (Hosea 14:2)
"Lord be my shield and sustain-er as I sleep"
Ps 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. (KJV)
"Lord lay me down with your shalom peace as I sleep"
(3) Here is a powerful "faith promise"
Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.(KJV)
"Lord call on me at 4:30am"
(4) You can speak any human words:
Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
This I feel requires great genuine faith, so that through fasting and fervent prayer,
you come to Jesus in humility and meekness at higher levels of processing your genuine faith.
