Complex child root words

Q19: Show how complex child root words can get?

"cham" "hot" Strongs 2525,2524,2527.

"The Outside flows" The pictograph meanings suggests outside the tent home its hot, where the sun and other hot things flow, such as a father-in-law.

"chemmah" "sun" Strongs 2535,2534,2528.

A person hot as the sun, or full of fury, or like the sun.

"chemeth" "skin-bag" Strongs 2573.

A skin-bag placed outside to experience heat flow, where some important mark would be made.

"chamowth" "mother-in-law" Strongs 25453.

A mother-in-law, a person outside flowing hot and secure, who makes an important mark on family.

"chamam" "warmth" Strongs 2552. "The outside flowing flows". The idea of warmth or intense heat.

"chem'ah" "Cheese" Strongs 2529. "The outside flows strong". The idea of belting the skin-bag strongly to curdle it, or the idea of the smell of cheese being strong, or both.

Notice all of the above Hebrew words are related by similar spellings, and they have similar meanings. To make cheese one would place the milk in a skin-bag, outside in the sun's warmth and wait or press the skin-bag repeatedly to separate the whey from the curds.

Now notice a related child root word:-

"chakam" Strongs 2450. "The outside palms flow"

The idea of choosing or separating the good things of life decisions from the bad ones, just as cheese is made from separating the water from the solids.

De 1:13 Take you wise men, and understanding,

Notice the wise men have skill and understanding, they separate outside flow of things (good and bad) coming into their mind.

Isa 7:15 Cheese and honey shall he eat,

that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

Here we see the Cheese eating is a simile of wisdom, choosing the functional from the dysfunctional, the good from the bad.

In summary, the pictograph meanings of Hebrew words, the child and root words are all very useful tools in understanding Ancient Hebrew thought. While this may break down with adopted Hebrew words and decay due to invasions and slang, the language tools are useful in understanding the proper Hebrew messages from GOD in our Bibles. Shalom

Next we look at how the pictograph theory may help in studying Scripture..
