| Q5: The Fifth principle of SELF INDULGENCE : Forget about GOD ! The "self indulgent" person generally forgets about GOD all the time. Ps 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable guilt: there is none that doeth good.
The self powered person is called a fool in the King James translation.
These people are their own strong authorities.
Such people consider themselves as their own god .
There are many religious people who have no understanding of intimacy
with Jesus. Such self powered people do not listen to the still small voice of the
conscience where the Holy Spirit connects them to Jesus' voice. Instead they
listen to Satan speaking to them, or follow their own self powered ways.
Train ourselves in Jesus to allow Him speak through us, even when we
are tempted to use self powered authority when speaking to others. Shalom
