Go and tell him privately ? Why ? to restore the good things
that flow from the relationship...human to human...
Makes sense doesn't it ?
( 278 ) Mt 18:21 � Then came Peter to him , and said , Lord , how oft shall my brother sin "chata'" against me , and I forgive him ? till seven times ?
.. shall my brother sinning against me, shall I forgive him ? ..
Notice Jesus' answer, all the time, forgive him as many times
as he requires forgiveness...
Forgiveness is about restoring the relationship to the person so good things
will flow again in the relationship. It's not about record keeping of wrongs,
and rights or rules over do's and don'ts...how pathetic is our estimation
of Jesus and His love for us !!!

Notice the sinning is about the restoration
of the sinner (an inferior) to a stronger authority
the superior.
