.. shall be unclean and shall not sin ..

( 112 ) Nu 21:7 Therefore the people came to Moses , and said , We have sinned "chata'", for we have spoken against the LORD , and against thee; pray unto the LORD , that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people .

.. Moses and said We have sin ..

( 113 ) Nu 22:34 And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD , I have sinned "chata'"; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease thee , I will get me back again . {displease...: Heb. be evil in thine eyes}

.. of the LORD I have sinned ..

( 115 ) Nu 31:20 And purify "chata'" all your raiment , and all that is made of skins , and all work of goats ' hair, and all things made of wood . {that...: Heb. instrument, or, vessel of skins}

.. And sinning clothing... .. Why the sinning clothing statement ?

The Hebrew word "beged" is the "Home walking door swings". The word means clothing, and also carries the idea of being one who deceives by treachery as clothing deceives.

Why does clothing deceive ? And hence be a symbol of sinning ? You will remember when Adam and Eve were finished with sinning, they both made lap lap clothing to cover with appendages that made they look different.

Notice the word here in this verse. Ge 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

The Hebrew word for apron is "Outside walking...secure strong Behold the Person !" Both words are similar, one is the Home walking, the other Outside walking. What makes clothing treacherous is the human manufacture of clothing in order to cover up... (nakedness or express status, or show off extravagence ) Hence clothing is indeed a symbol of sinning, or can be a person's hands.

( 116 ) Nu 31:23 Every thing that may abide the fire , ye shall make it go through the fire , and it shall be clean : nevertheless it shall be purified "chata'" with the water of separation : and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water .

.. clean nevertheless it shall be sin ..

( 117 ) Nu 32:23 But if ye will not do so , behold, ye have sinned "chata'" against the LORD : and be sure your sin will find you out .

.. ye will not do so behold, ye have sin ..

( 118 ) De 1:41 Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned "chata'" against the LORD , we will go up and fight , according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war , ye were ready to go up into the hill .

.. and said unto me, We have sin ..

( 119 ) De 9:16 And I looked , and, behold, ye had sinned "chata'" against the LORD your God , and had made you a molten calf : ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you.

.. And I looked and, behold, ye had sinned ..

( 120 ) De 9:18 And I fell down before the LORD , as at the first , forty days and forty nights : I did neither eat bread , nor drink water , because of all your sins which ye sinned "chata'", in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD , to provoke him to anger .

.. of all your sins "chataah" which ye sinned "chata" ..

..because of your sin-offering from your sinning.. Moses remained on the mountain 40 days and nights to make a sin-offering for all the sinning the children did Such is the importance of sinning to GOD...but Why ? If sinning is missing the mark , what does this mean ? Is sinning is about relationships ? What are we missing ?

"sin" "chata " The pictograph meaning of this Ancient Hebrew is "the strong""basket covering of things" "outside".

Notice the meaning here, the "basket covering of things"... What is a basket full of ? Good food, presents, all the good and functional things of Jesus. So if the strong basket of good things is outside, than we are missing them. This suggests to me sinning is about us losing out of all the good things Jesus has to offer us, but can't because of our sinning, seems to spoil the relationship connection. What things can He offer us ?

  • (1) Divine power to heal sicknesses
  • (2) Raising the dead
  • (3) Shaking buildings
  • (4) Creating more food from food
  • (5) Making languages sound when you don't know the language
  • (6) Ability to hyper-space to a new location
  • (7) Read people's minds
  • (8) Directly commune to Jesus through the Holy Spirit, like Moses did.
  • (9) Cause the winds to die down, or fire up.
  • (10) Anything is possible in Jesus name.

    All this power from Jesus as a person can't flow through us if we are sinning. Even ignorantly sinning. This is why sinning is important to Jesus. Sinning spoils the relationships connection of power between the Saviour and the Sinner. Now are there any verses to support this idea ?
