Baalaam money multiplies

( 101 ) Nu 22:18 And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak , If Balak would give me his house full of silver "keceph" and gold , I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God , to do less or more .

.. his house full of silver .. Here we see money (silver and gold) cannot overpower the Words of GOD. Baalam is a literal person who lived out literally the life of Baal religion. God spoke to him and loved him, but He refused to be removed from Baal which is the "home secure authority" the one who is a "god" of their own home, the soul of their minds.

( 102 ) Nu 24:13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver "keceph" and gold , I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD , to do either good or bad of mine own mind ; but what the LORD saith , that will I speak ?

.. his house full of silver ..

( 103 ) Nu 31:22 Only the gold , and the silver "keceph", the brass , the iron , the tin , and the lead ,

.. silver ..

( 104 ) De 2:6 Ye shall buy meat of them for money "keceph", that ye may eat ; and ye shall also buy water of them for money "keceph", that ye may drink .

.. .. shall buy meat of them for silver ..also buy water of them for silver ..

( 105 ) De 2:28 Thou shalt sell me meat for money "keceph", that I may eat ; and give me water for money "keceph", that I may drink : only I will pass through on my feet ;

.. .. Thou shalt sell me meat for silver ..and give me water for silver ..

( 106 ) De 7:25 The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire : thou shalt not desire the silver "keceph" or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God .

.. thou shalt not desire the silver ..

( 107 ) De 8:13 And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply , and thy silver "keceph" and thy gold is multiplied , and all that thou hast is multiplied ;

.. flocks multiply and thy silver ..

( 108 ) De 14:25 Then shalt thou turn it into money "keceph", and bind up the money "keceph" in thine hand , and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose :

.. .. 14:25 Then shalt thou turn it into silver ..into money and bind up the silver ..

( 109 ) De 14:26 And thou shalt bestow that money "keceph" for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after , for oxen , or for sheep , or for wine , or for strong drink , or for whatsoever thy soul desireth : and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God , and thou shalt rejoice , thou, and thine household , {desireth: Heb. asketh of thee}

.. De 14:26 And thou shalt bestow that silver ..

( 110 ) De 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver "keceph" and gold .

.. greatly multiply to himself silver ..

We are not to multipy ourselves to silver and gold. We are not to increase our status by hoarding loads of money. Why can't we ? Because our hearts tends ot turn away from God. That's why Jesus says it is difficult for a rich man to enter into the personal space of Jesus. It was easieer for a camels to walk on its knees through the needle door, a tiny opening in the main gate left open for those hurrying back into the city after the main larger gate was closed for the night.

Mt 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
