( 201 ) Joh 7:23 If a man on the sabbath day "shabbath" receive circumcision , that the law of Moses should not be broken ; are ye angry at me , because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day "shabbath"?

( 204 ) Joh 19:31 The Jews therefore , because it was the preparation , that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day "shabbath", (for that sabbath day "shabbath" was an high day ,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken , and that they might be taken away .

.. .. cross on the sabbath ( ceasing ) ..(for that sabbath ( ceasing ) ) ..

( 206 ) Joh 20:19 Then the same day at evening , being the first day of the week "shabbath", when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews , came Jesus and stood in the midst , and saith unto them , Peace be unto you .

( 212 ) Ac 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him , being read in the synagogues every sabbath day "shabbath".

.. every sabbath ceasing .. Notice they make mention of Moses preached in all the church synagogue assemblies. These people are Gentile Jews, who become Christian. They are NOT Gentiles who become Christian. The Jews barely tolerated even Jews who become Gentile in customs, let alone pagans who knew nothing of Jewish customs and culture.

Some modern religions claim the Sabbath day attendance was just to witness to Gentiles...why would a Jew like Paul enter a synagogue on Sabbath, if not to convert Jewish-Gentiles coming there also to be Christians Jews like himself. (Since there is a difference between Jews and Hebrews, one should clarify this saying Paul was a Hebrew Christian, and often fought Jews over the torah-teaching regardless circumcision for example. A strict Jew would have seen Paul as Jew defecting over to this new Jesus sect, which we describe as Hebrew Christian.)

( 213 ) Ac 16:13 And on the sabbath "shabbath" we went out of the city by a river side , where prayer was wont to be made ; and we sat down , and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

.. ceasing .. Mention of women keeping Sabbath in the New Testament.

( 215 ) Ac 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath "shabbath", and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks .

.. synagogue every ceasing .. Paul is preaching to Jews and Gentile Jews, both of whom when to assemblies each Sabbath.

( 216 ) Ac 20:7 And upon the first day of the week "shabbath", when the disciples came together to break bread , Paul preached unto them , ready to depart on the morrow ; and continued his speech until midnight .

.. upon the first day of the ceasing .. Paul is preaching on Sabbath and on Saturday night breaks bread. This does not imply having the Lord's Supper, and may mean an ording dinner meal. He continues preaching right through Saturday night, what Scripture calls the first day after Sabbath.

( 217 ) 1Co 16:2 Upon the first day of the week "shabbath" let every one of you lay by him in store , as God hath prospered him , that there be no gatherings when I come .

.. 16:2 Upon the first day of the ceasing .. Paul is asking people to count the offering money after Sabbath on Saturday night, what Scripture calls the first day after Sabbath.
