Faith study, amen, godhead, family of God,

HYPOTHESIS: What does Faith mean?

Q: (4) aman

PICTURE:

The pictograph reads "The strong flow over the nations". Strong's 543

This study looks at NT occurances of "pisteuo" the Greek word listed by Strong as 4100.

DISCUSSION: There are 220 verses that use "aman" in the NT. The Author will present some contexts, but investigate all verses in this study for the reader.

The Greek word "pisteuo" 4100 is the Hebrew word "aman" (verb form) 539, meaning "support".

The Greek word "pistos" 4103 is the Hebrew word "emunah" (noun form) 530, meaning "support".

The Author presents the New Testament original words in Hebrew for the reader.

Context (1): The first mention of "aman" is here in Matthew, and significant in our study of "Faith":-

  • Mt 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
  • 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
  • 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith (emunah) "support", no, not in Israel.
  • 11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
  • 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
  • 13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed (aman) "supported me", so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

What passage do we need than this one to show the reader that the "faith as a theme" means to support someone? Why did the centurian say what he said to Jesus? He knew that if Jesus spoke the word the disease would go away. Where is this found in the Holy Writings?

Ps 33:9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.(KJV)

This is enough to convince the reader, Jesus speaks the word, and things get done. How is this achieved?

Ps 33:6 By the word of the LORD (Jesus-YHWH) were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath (Ruwach) "Holy Spirit" of his mouth. (KJV)

Jesus speaks the words of His Father, and via the Holy Spirit, things are engineered as Jesus speaks them. Thus creation was a community process of love working together.

This is what the centurian is showing Jesus by supporting Jesus words that Jesus can speak the word and things happen, just as a centurian can speak a command and things happen with soldiers under him. Jesus marvelled at the understanding of this man's concept of support. And granted his request by speaking the word only from afar, the sick man was healed.

Context (2): Next we see that one cannot receive wonders from Jesus unless you show support in Jesus:-

Mt 9:27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy (chen) "beauty" on us.

  • 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe (aman) "support me" ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
  • 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith (emunah) "support" be it unto you.

How were the blind men supporting Jesus?

  • Ps 146:8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
  • Isa 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
  • Isa 42:7 To open the blind eyes,
  • Isa 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not;
  • Isa 43:8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.

The blind men have to have read and understood these words, or some of these words here, to be able to support Jesus correctly. They knew Jesus was the YHWH pronounced here in the OT Holy Writings, and that the LORD YHWH Yeshua would heal their blindness. That is why Jesus asked them if they would support Him. Since they could not read the words themselves, they would have listened to such words being spoken, and this is why they just said "Yeah Lord", rather than fully quote His words publically.

The blind men said "Lord show us your mercy". In Hebrew this is "Yhwh" show us your "chen". The Hebrew word "chen" is often translated "grace" or "mercy" but really means "beauty". The blind men were wanting Jesus to show His beauty to them. Such a broad meaning, beauty, implies, "kindness" "power" "miracle" "wonder" "grace" and "mercy". And so the "wonder of Jesus" came upon them, and they went away seeing Jesus in person, feeling Jesus with joy, speaking Jesus with praise, and doing powerful things with their hands.

That's what happens if you support Jesus beauty; His beauty flows into you. What a Saviour to have a relationship with!

Context (3):This passage tells us that prophets can and do introduce renewed concepts of salvation, not seen very well in older teachings. We are told in the Holy Writings to test a prophet, and than accept the renewed teachings of Jesus, for us living in present time. Baptism was not practiced fully in the older teachings. Paul wrote the saved walked under the Red Sea, as a simile of baptism, and the laver washed parts of body before entering the temple where Jesus resided in OT times. But Jesus challenged the Jews who did not accept John as a prophet, nor Jesus as a heavenly messenger of the Father-YHWH from heaven.

  • Mt 21:25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe (aman) "support" him?
  • 1Co 10:1  Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
  • Ex 40:30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.
  • 31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat
  • 1Jo 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

So it is important we also support the teachings of the prophets, which Jesus sends to us during different times. Would we expect more prophets and their teachings in the end of time?

  • Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
  • Joe 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
  • 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Context (4): Sometimes wonders of Jesus do not flow through us for the benefit of others, because of certain conditions we need to adhere.

  • Mr 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe (aman) "support", all things are possible to him that believeth (aman) "supports me".
  • 24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe (aman) "support you"; help thou mine unbelief "lack of support".
  • 25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
  • 26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
  • 27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.
  • 28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
  • 29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Fasting improves your ability to pray, and helps you to develop better support for Jesus.

Ac 14:23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed (aman) "supported".

Elders in the church should practice fasting and prayer, as all those who support Jesus.

Ac 27:9 Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them,

Why mention the "Fast" if "feasts and fasts at appointed times was abolished by Jesus on the Cross"?. Clearly the "Feasts" and "Fasts" serve to help us, even in the end of time.

1Co 7:5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Fasting controls "fornication" or "sexual immorality", as well as helping us with prayer. The stomach is wired from the brain via a nerve system. Thus the worship of Jesus, the manna or man from heaven, is eaten carefully and respectfully. This is what fasting helps us do. The lust for food, with the sin of appetite, is directly the opposite of fasting and prayer.

Context (4):Notice the signs and wonders that flow from Jesus to those in the latter days of Jesus' salvation.

    Mr 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe (aman) "support Jesus"; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

  • 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Why arn't these things happening today? Because nobody is supporting Jesus correctly.

Lu 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith (emunah) "support" on the earth?

Sad isn't it? Why don't we read our Bibles in the language it was written in, to get the pure words of Jesus, refined in the fire seven times? Than we shall know we have the true and real meanings of Jesus, the word personified in His teachings. But many of us are deceived with fuzzy translations, and have lost "faith" in Jesus, and do not even know how to experience Jesus' salvation process. Many of us do not know the Science of Salvation. What is that?

For more see SOP explains (4) Science

Context (5): Here is a simile of how to be saved by Jesus. We must take the Seeds of Jesus and sow the WORD in our minds. We do this by "supporting Jesus" or "quoting His words of promised power daily in our minds".

Lu 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe (aman) "support Jesus" and be saved.

Notice the devil snatches the words from our minds.

The Author is a beginner with "child like faith", so let me give you a personal example of a Seed Jesus promises daily to those who sow "promised power personally personified".

"Walking past the restaurant is an array of foods, showing "manufactured man-made madness", the Author knows such food is dysfunction to eat. Sure the food looks yummy to the lust of the eye, so quickly in my mind I sow a seed of "promised power personally personified" , and say "Lead me not into temptation but deliver me from all things dysfunctional". And immediately I can walk past the puffed pastry with sugar sweet madness inside and relish instead an apple made from "God's goodness growing garden" instead. On other days if I choose not to support Jesus with His words, my mind naturally craves for dysfunctional things and I eat the "manufactured man-made madness" food and only after do I come to know my missing before my Saviour, Jesus."

Ro 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith (emunah) "support" : for whatsoever is not of faith (emunah) "support" is sin.

So every minute of the day, the beginner in Jesus, must be armed with His words for all occasions and situations in walking with Him, hand in hand.

For more, see the latter rain of Jesus

Context (6): In this passage we see Philip told by the Holy Spirit to run and witness to a man in a chariot. Notice the Holy Spirit speaks to you, whom to witness personally to.

Ac 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest (aman) "support" with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Notice the eunuch supports the words of Isaiah 53, stating the man who went like a lamb to the slaughter was Jesus, the Son of Elohiym.

Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

And so that very hour the eunuch was baptised, and saved by Jesus, because of the words of support the eunuch sowed in his heart.

Context (7): Here is a secular use of "support". The other disciples would not support Paul's words, because of his previous actions against Jesus and his followers. Thus in order to prove we support Jesus, we must bear fruits of support, that show others and GOD, that our fruits of support match our convictions to support Jesus. Saying the words "I support Jesus" is not enough. What is surprising is that Barnabas was willing to "support" Paul, based on little evidence. That shows what a man of love and acceptance Barnabas was.

Ac 9:26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

  • 27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
  • Ac 9:29 And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
  • Ac 9:42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed (aman) "supported" in the Lord.

By their fruits we shall know if we support Jesus or not.

Context (8): The Hebrew word "YHWH" means "He who exists", and is sadly lost in the New Testament translations in the Greek, for "adown", "adonay" and "YHWH" are all translated as "kurios". This should not bother a follower of Jesus, because Jesus is our foundational Lord "adown"; our active messenger for the Father in the OT "adonay"; and of the Family of Elohiym as the "One who existed" from eternity "YHWH". Many who will not support the words of the OT with the words of the NT, destroy the "YHWH-LORD" of the former and latter rains of Jesus' teachings.

Ac 11:21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed (aman) "supported", and turned unto the Lord.

The context demands here that "Lord" here is "YHWH" in both occasions.

Ac 11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God (Elohiym), was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord (YHWH). (KJV)

  • De 4:4 But ye that did cleave unto the LORD (YHWH) your God (Elohiym) are alive every one of you this day.

Notice the words in the OT, support the words in the NT. This is how the Holy Writings support the former and latter rains, or teachings.

Many might doubt these Greek words match the OT Hebrew. Why even many followers doubted Jesus rose from the dead:

Mt 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. (KJV)

People who doubt will not support a heavenly Saviour they cannot see, nor hope for His power they cannot immediately feel.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.(KJV)

And this Holy Writing really says:

Heb 11:1 Now Support is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.(Ancient Hebrew)

When you sow "words of Jesus" in your heart, you hope for a "power flow of Jesus" that cannot be seen, but whose affect is felt later on. That is how "support" works, and this is the correct way we show our "Faith to Jesus".

Context (9): Now we consider Paul speaking about how to be saved by Jesus. This is an important theme, and vital we get the translation correct. First one has to understand Paul wrote Romans in Hebrew, not Greek. Second the pure words of Hebrew is found in the Ancient Hebrew pictographs, and the related word meanings from there.

If the reader is unfamiliar with these things, read an Introduction into Hebrew, discover the meanings of Ancient Hebrew Letters, look at the way Ancient Chinese use the same pictograph meanings as Ancient Hebrew, proving that Ancient Hebrew goes right back to the Garden of Eden times. This supports Ancient Hebrew Pictographs.

Also notice a simple study of Ancient Hebrew Pictographs here.

Than have a look at a simple presentation why the New Testament writings was orginally written in Hebrew

Once you have done all things with an open mind, you are ready to read what Paul says about how to be saved by Jesus, in his Hebrew Holy Writings.

  • Ro 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God(Elohiym) unto salvation (yeshua) to every one that believeth (aman) "supports"; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
  • 17 For therein is the righteousness "straightness" of God (Elohiym) revealed from faith (emunah) "support" to faith (emunah) "support" : as it is written, The just "straight" shall live by faith (emunah) "support".
  • 18 For the wrath of God (Elohiym) is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
  • 19 Because that which may be known of God (Elohiym) is manifest in them; for God (Elohiym) hath shewed it unto them.
  • 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead (Elohiym); so that they are without excuse:

There are 77 verses that use "salvation" in the Former Teachings.

Ge 49:18 I have waited for thy salvation (yeshua), O LORD (YHWH -Jesus).

Yeshua is a verb of action, not the Name of a Being, just like yasha is a verb of action, not the Name of a Being. And yet both of these verbs are a functional descriptor of Jesus, called in Hebrew Yeshua, or the Hebrew word "salvation". From verse 16 in Romans, Paul is aligning the power of Elohiym, with the functional work of Christ, and making Yeshua or Salvation, the work of our Saviour Jesus. And yet this work of salvation is a community effort, for Paul calls this the Power of Elohiym. And to receive salvation, we have to support Jesus' words, which are also the Father's words, the power of Elohiym, the FAMILY of GOD.

Ex 15:2 The LORD (Yahh) "A reference to Jesus, MarYah" is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation (yeshua): he is my God (el) "Strong Authority", and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's(ab) God (Elohiym), and I will exalt him. (KJV)

The Peshitta is a NT writing using Mar Yah, as a reference to Jesus, and aligns with this OT reference here. Calling 'Yahh El' means the heavenly Being is a numerical single one of Strong Authority, thus Jesus is Yahh, from His Father, the family of Elohiym, and I will exalt him.

De 32:15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God (eloah) "heavenly Father" which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock (tsuwr) "father rock" of his salvation "yeshua".

There are Holy Writing verses like these that make our heavenly Father the foundation of Jesus and salvation as a community effort.

This is what Paul says in Romans 1:16, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of Elohiym unto salvation (yeshua) to every one that "supports Christ"; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Psalms 22:1 My God (el) "my Strong Authority" , my God (el) "my Strong Authority", why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping(yeshua) "saving" me, and from the words of my roaring?

The "el" tells you two Strong Authorities was spoken by Jesus hanging on the Cross, he referenced the Family parents of Elohiym. Thus the term "salvation" is a community term, the Family power of Elohiym for man's salvation comes through their Son Jesus. Prove that Elohiym is a "Family concept".

  • Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
  • 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
  • 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit "Holy Spirit" in the inner man;

The term "family" is not used to reference "Elohiym" in the former teachings, only in the latter teachings. Why is that?

The Hebrew pictograph meaning of "family" is "The flow pressed from my mouth outside. Behold the Being!"

The Family of Elohiym is timeless and eternal, but when missing entered the universe, the Family of Elohiym proposed a renewed picture of love, and the continual presentation of that love. In other words, the "Flow of Love was pressed from the Mouth of the Father Outside the universe. Behold the Being! presenting this continued flow"

From the latter teachings, when a member of Elohiym added humanity to itself, than Jesus becomes the one whom the love of Elohiym continues, and thus He becomes a "Son", the "Family Home of Elohiym continues over the nations" (this is the pictograph meaning of the Hebrew word BN 'ben' or 'son')

Some who no longer support God say they do not like members of Elohiym role playing. Is that was "verbs of action" are, just Beings "role playing"? The real problem for them is they insist Jesus has an origin, like normal earthlings do, as a boy growing up through time. But Elohiym is timeless and without origin.

  • Pr 8:22 The LORD (Father-YHWH) possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

The SOP tells us the Father and Son created together. But this passage is about wisdom called forth, ( not Jesus as an origin in time ) from when missing entered the universe. For more see Holy Spirit with Jesus

    "The Lord Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, existed from eternity, a distinct person, yet one with the Father. He was the surpassing glory of heaven. He was the commander of the heavenly intelligences, and the adoring homage of the angels was received by Him as His right. This was no robbery of God. The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, He declares, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depths "(Proverbs 8:22-27). {LHU 16.4}

Since this passage quoted by the SOP is about wisdom coming forth from Jesus, we need to unravel who carries this wisdom as a Being, and who our Creator, as a Being is.

  • Pr 8:27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
  • 28 When he established the his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
  • 30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

Thus the Holy Spirit as an agency of wisdom was there empowering the words spoken by the Creator, Jesus.

  • 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead (Elohiym); so that they are without excuse:

The context here for Elohiym is strange, and translated "Godhead", but in Hebrew is Elohiym, a plural word, needing more plural meanings associated with it. So the Author terms this Hebrew theme a "double plural" theme. Is there other Holy Writing verses using Elohiym as a plural plural ?

  • Ge 20:13 And it came to pass, when God (elohiym) (with plural verb "elohiym's" or "godhead") caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother

For comments on this verse by Gordon Nehemia, a Jew who opposes Christianity, see (7) Support Study.

Paul was also a Jew who opposed the Christian sect, but later was converted by Jesus. Paul writes here that Jesus was of the Family of Elohiym from eternity. Paul is supporting the former teachings with the latter teachings. The use of the Hebrew word "elohiym" with a plural verb, is used in both Abram's day and Paul's day.

Context (10): Here is another passage where Paul speaks about how to be saved by Jesus:

Ro 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (KJV)

Ro 10:4 For Christ completes the teachings for straightness to every one who supports Jesus. (Ancient Hebrew)

Notice Jesus completes the power flow of Elohiym in you, if you support Jesus' words.

Ro 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law (torah) "teachings", That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.(KJV)

Many Jews saw the teachings as "Baal master powers of self" so that by doing the teachings, they became straight in the eyes of the Lord. Is this correct religion? No. It makes one pious and holy, but such legalism means nothing to God. You are a "good person" following the teachings of God, but you have no Divine saving power in you, you are not in a quickened relationship.

Ro 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) (KJV)

Ro 10:6 But the straightness which is of support speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) (Ancient Hebrew)

To obtain Divine Power flowing in you (as a Straight Life) , you must "support the Words", thus bring Christ down from heaven flowing in you...how is this done?

    Ro 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith (emunah) "support", which we preach;

  • 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe (aman) "support Jesus" in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

  • Ro 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (KJV)
  • Ro 10:17 So then support cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of Elohiym. (Ancient Hebrew)

Read the words of Jesus, and listen to Jesus speaking to you. Than speak the words of Jesus, and hope for the unseen flow of Jesus, flowing in you. Do this with humility and meekness, not pride and presumption, and Jesus will use you for His glory. Hallelujah!

That is how one is saved by Jesus, if you support His words, and hope for the unseen flow, flowing in you as He has promised He will do. That is what the theme of "faith" is all about. Shalom

Heb 11:1 Support is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Ancient Hebrew)

How is this done? Speak Jesus words, and He listens to you, and grants you His flow, flowing in you. You support His words, and hope for this unseen flow to flow in you.

Context (11): Next we study the difference between supporting Jesus' words, or doing those words merely by human power. Is there a difference? O yes, a huge difference, from earth to heaven and back.

Ga 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (KJV)

Ga 2:16 Knowing that a man is not straight by the works of the teachings, but by the support of Jesus Christ, even we have supported Jesus Christ, that we might be straightened by the support of Christ, and not by the works of the teachings: for by the works of the teachings shall no flesh be straightened. (Ancient Hebrew)

So guarding the Sabbath, waiting for Jesus to come in the clouds, guarding the ten commandments using human strength, and praying and learning more Bible themes, being a vegetarian, does not make any one straight before God.

Human who follow the torah-teachings are doing so, using their Baal Master powers of self. Paul and Peter did this before they were truely converted. Most of the children of Israel did this in the former teachings, in the OT. It is natural to serve GOD through our own Baal master powers of self, for this is what we are born with. But such inherited powers come from Adam's decision to miss the Divine Relationship He had with GOD in the Garden of Eden, and so because of his sin, all have become condemned and are ruled by a new ruler; Satan.

For more see What is sinning?

Ga 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified "straightened" by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners (chata) "missing", is therefore Christ the minister of sin (chataah) "sin-offering"? God forbid.

  • 18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

You cannot live in Jesus using your own Baal master powers of self and expect to be made straight by Jesus, every time you sin, and confess your sin-offerings of guilt unto Jesus, over and over. God forbid. You are destroying the power of Jesus and Jesus' ability to save you. Torah-teachings do not work in this way.

Ga 2:19 For I through the law (torah) "teachings" am dead to the law "teachings", that I might live unto God "Elohiym".

  • 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith (emunah) "support" of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

You are saved by Jesus who supports you. All you have to do for this support to work in you, is to support Jesus back. The relationship is a process of receiving the WORD (by taking it) and giving the WORD back (by speaking or praying it), and Jesus will allow His flow to flow in you, that automatically overcomes all missing or sin in your life.

All those years of sinning as a follower of Jesus, and asking for Jesus to accept my sin-offerings over and over, proves just how much of a babe I was, following Jesus as my ruler and following Satan as my ruler. We tend to hop between these two rulers all the time. That is why Passover, or the Lord's Ordinance in the latter teachings, is called in Hebrew a hopping theme. Passover means to hop. A lukewarm follower of Jesus is one who hops hot and hops cold, and the combined result of this so called Christian is a lukewarm one. How often as children do we not understand God's religion, and how it works, if nobody teaches it to us correctly?

1Jo 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth (chata) not: whosoever sinneth (chata) hath not seen him, neither known him.

  • 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
  • 8 He that committeth sin (chata) is of the devil; for the devil sinneth (chata) from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
  • 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin (chataah) "sin-offering"; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin (chata), because he is born of God.

John writes things plainly. We have to hop over to Jesus as our master power, and we do this by supporting His words, hoping for Jesus to come unseen into our hearts, destroying the works of Satan.

"It only takes a spark to get a fire going, and soon soon all those around will warming up in your glowing, that how it is with God's love, once your experienced it..."

Context (12): Finally let's look at false support, and false spirits of support. Indeed Satan has churches of support, and children who support Him, and His spirits.

Jas 2:19 Thou believest (aman) "support" that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe (aman) "support", and tremble.

  • 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith (emunah) "support" without works is dead?
  • 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
  • 22 Seest thou how faith (emunah) "support" wrought with his works, and by works was faith (emunah) "support" made perfect (mala) "fill completely"?

The followers of Satan have churches which look like "pious christian affairs" where followers support Satan and His spirits. That is why the Holy Writings says to "test the spirits" to see if they are of GOD or not.

1Jo 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world (KJV)

Elohiym told Abraham to offer His one and only Son on the altar, Abraham did as He was told, supportiing God.

Ge 22:7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

  • 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Notice how Abraham supports GOD by quoting words that God will supply the human sacifice with Himself. How did Abraham know this? There is not much written before Genesis 22 about God and the plan of salvation. Often the words of salvation was carried orally by special followers before them. The only source of Holy Writings recorded before the Great Flood, and Dinosaur Age with Mankind, is the Book of Job. We know this because of it's older Hebrew words and the mention of Dinosaurs with mankind.

Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

  • Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
  • Job 13: 16 He also shall be my salvation:
  • Job 31:33 If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:

These verses give us clues that Abraham knew about salvation, our Redeemer and the purpose of offerings.

When you support Jesus, by taking His words and speaking or praying with them, Jesus supports you with a promised flow of His power in you. Thus your "support" is considered by James in this verse as "works", because support is something you do.

Notice your support of Jesus does not come from Baal master powers of self, but from your will, supporting Jesus' words, and allowing the flow of Jesus to work in you. For this process to work, the follower would have to know the Holy Writings very well indeed, in order to choose which words of support for that hourly need.

Indeed, in the Psalms are 150 chapters of prayers showing support to Elohiym, thus we can be confident to know which words to support Jesus with, with the reading of the Word personified, and with the praying of Word when speaking. There are also many similes with Nature in the Bible for a reason, so we can walk in God's creation, and show our support by the similes we see and do.

Next we look at study of "emeth", which is always translated as "Truth", and means "words that support GOD".
