Jesus is Adonay, Lord

(131) Isa 50:7 For the Lord (Adonay) GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded : therefore have I set my face like a flint , and I know that I shall not be ashamed .

.. For the LORD (Adonay) YHWH will ..

(132) Isa 50:9 Behold, the Lord (Adonay) GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment ; the moth shall eat them up .

.. the LORD (Adonay) YHWH will..

(133) Isa 52:4 For thus saith the Lord (Adonay) GOD , My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause .

.. the LORD (Adonay) GOD ..

This verse says Lord Adonay Jesus allowed Israel to journey to Egypt during drought times..

(134) Isa 56:8 The Lord (Adonay) GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith , Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

.. The LORD (Adonay) YHWH which..

A prophecy that LORD Adonay Jesus, speaks of His own actions in the New Testament, to gather His own...

  • Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

    (135) Isa 61:1  The Spirit of the Lord (Adonay) GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek ; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted , to proclaim liberty to the captives , and the opening of the prison to them that are bound ;

..The Spirit of the LORD (Adonay) YHWH is up..

  • Lu 4:18 The Spirit (Holy Spirit administrates the character) of the Lord (Father-YHWH) is upon me (Jesus), because he (Father YHWH) hath anointed me ( Jesus) to preach the gospel to the poor; he (Father YHWH) hath sent me (Jesus) to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
  • 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (YHWH).
  • 20 And he (Jesus) closed the book, and he ( Jesus) gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him ( Jesus).
  • 21 And he (Jesus in the New Testament) began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Yes Jesus is in the Old Testament, is living and acting out His own words in the flesh in the New Testament...

This cannot be the Father, speaking words, and failing to live them out in the flesh, or allowing them to be acted out by a human Son of God...makes for poor words, the bread does not come down from heaven literally does it ? If the bread is spoken as prophecy, but acted differently by a human Son of God ?

But imagine the very Lord Adonay Jesus speaking these words hundreds of years before, and now speaking them again in person, the very person to His own people in the flesh....

    (136) Isa 61:11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud , and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth ; so the Lord (Adonay) GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations .

..so the LORD (Adonay) GOD will ..

The verses before speak of Father-YHWH showering gifts on His Son a as a Groom does for His Bride... as a similee of a bud about to burst into flower... as a person covered in jewels...so the Lord Adonay Jesus comes forth in praise..

    (137) Isa 65:13 Therefore thus saith the Lord (Adonay) GOD , Behold, my servants shall eat , but ye shall be hungry : behold, my servants shall drink , but ye shall be thirsty : behold, my servants shall rejoice , but ye shall be ashamed :

    .. the LORD (Adonay) YHWH..

    (138) Isa 65:15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen : for the Lord (Adonay) GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name :

.... for the LORD (Adonay) YHWH shall..

The New testament seems to quote these references, but the parallel links are weak, because the New Testament writers do not quote exactly.

    (139) Jer 1:6 Then said I, Ah , Lord (Adonay) GOD ! behold, I cannot speak : for I am a child .

.. Ah , LORD (Adonay) YHWH! behold..

    (140) Jer 2:19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter , that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God , and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord (Adonay) GOD of hosts .

.. .. saith the LORD (Adonay) YHWH of hosts..
