Lord master

(241) Ps 105:21 He made him lord (adown) of his house , and ruler of all his substance :

..105:21 He made him lord (adown) of his house..

(242) Ps 110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord (adown) , Sit thou at my right hand , until I make thine enemies thy footstool .

.. The LORD said unto my Lord (adown) ..

A New Testament verse quoted by Jesus, that David was speaking about Him. "The LORD (Father-YHWH) said to my LORD (Jesus) sit down at my right hand until I make all your enemies under your feet."

Notice this verse continues...

Ps 110:2 The LORD (Father-YHWH) shall send the rod of thy strength...

Who is the rod of the Father's strength? His Son 'Lord Jesus' is, the 'adown' in the first verse.

Ps 110:3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

These reference the Holy Spirit, who was over their Son 'adown' Lord Jesus, from birth..

Ps 110:4 The LORD (Father-YHWH) hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

The 'adown' Lord Jesus, from verse 1, is a new Priestly line, as predicted here... Notice Jesus is referenced as 'adown' my Lord....not my master...

(243) Ps 114:7 Tremble , thou earth , at the presence of the Lord (adown) , at the presence of the God of Jacob ;

.. presence of the Lord (adown)..

(244) Ps 123:2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters (adown) , and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress ; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God , until that he have mercy upon us.

..look unto the hand of their Lord's (adown) ..

(245) Ps 135:5 For I know that the LORD is great , and that our Lord (adown) is above all gods .

.. For I know that the LORD is great , and that our Lord (adown) is above all..

If Jesus quoted Psalms 110:1 'adown' as Himself in this verse, and not David, who is a typology of Jesus a heavenly king, as against David an earthly king;, then we have an interesting premise...

Why is Jesus above all other Elohiym's? Because of all the strong authorities that flow, including Jesus' Father's flow, The Lord Jesus, is above them all for salvation, for the Father has given salvation to His Son.

Joh 3:17 For God (Elohiym) sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him (Jesus) might be saved.

For I know that the LORD (Father-YHWH) is great, that the 'adown' Lord Jesus is above all Elohiym's.

(246) Ps 136:3 O give thanks to the Lord (adown) of lords (adown) : for his mercy endureth for ever .

.. O give thanks to the Lord (adown) of lords ..

Here is an interesting premise as well... If Jesus quoted Psalms 110:1 saying that the YHWH said to my 'adown' Lord, is referring to Himself, then 'adown' is a reference to Jesus, the lord Jesus. Notice the hierarchy of these heavenly beings in this Psalm...

  • Ps 136:1  O give thanks unto the LORD (Father - YHWH);
  • Ps 136:2 O give thanks unto the God (Elohiym) of gods (Elohiym) :
  • Ps 136:3 O give thanks to the Lord (Adown) of lords (Adown):

    This Psalm starts off with praise for the Father YHWH, then states the Father is above all other Strong Authorities that flow (elohiym) and lastly we see reference to 'adown' of 'adown', can only refer to Lord Jesus above all other Lords..

    (247) Ps 147:5 Great is our Lord (adown) , and of great power : his understanding is infinite .

    .. Great is our Lord (adown) ..

    Is there any evidence of the heavenly Father referenced as 'adown'? Not sure, but I doubt it..

    (248) Pr 25:13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest , so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters (adown) .

    ..for he refresheth the soul of his Lords (adown) .

    (249) Pr 27:18 Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master (adown) shall be honoured .

    ..so he that waiteth on his Lord (adown) ..

    (250) Pr 30:10 Accuse not a servant unto his master (adown) , lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty .

    .. unto his Lord (adown) ..
