(131) 2Sa 13:33 Now therefore let not my lord (adown) the king take the thing to his heart , to think that all the king's sons are dead : for Amnon only is dead .

(134) 2Sa 14:15 Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord (adown) the king , it is because the people have made me afraid : and thy handmaid said , I will now speak unto the king ; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid .

unto my lord (adown) the king ..

(135) 2Sa 14:17 Then thine handmaid said , The word of my lord (adown) the king shall now be comfortable : for as an angel of God , so is my lord (adown) the king to discern good and bad : therefore the LORD thy God will be with thee.

The word of my lord (adown) the king..

..servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord (adown) the king ..

Strange when the ruler is an earthly king, 'lord' is used but for a slave or earthly husband, 'master' is used..

Now do we consider Jesus a king? Well than one should use "lord" for Him?

Lu 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

According to KJV use of 'lord' for a 'king', than Jesus here is 'Lord' as the KJV shows...

Mt 27:11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.

So Jesus was King of Israel, His title is 'adown' as 'LORD'...
