A summary of sinning

Q10: What conclusions are there from sinning?

When we do missing, we are missing out on the power flow of Jesus though our lives. The more missing you do, the further you walk away from Jesus in your relationship to Him.

It is not the amount of sinning or the size of your sinning that stops you from having a relationship to Jesus, but the fact you are unwilling to be trained in Jesus love. This training allows you to move closer and closer to Jesus, even while you are ignorantly sinning, your sinning is confessed unto your sin-offering that is processed by your sin-bearer Jesus, who takes away your sin-offering penalty of death and gives you His peace. How much sinning you continue to do, either ignorantly or wilfully is between you and your saviour , indeed the mind is willing but the flesh is weak.

At times it is the sin-offering ruling over us beguiling us to sinning. We long for the Holy Spirit to remove our propensities and our carnal ways that easily trip us up. We should not make any excuse for missing the power flow of Jesus promised in our life.

The training we receive is like growing up in His love torah teachings, at first as a babe. We become used to each teaching as we read them in Scripture, but later as we mature, we are able to appreciate the attitudes behind each torah teaching and see the principles of love instead. Indeed love and its rules are attitudes which know no definitions.

1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

As we grow in Jesus love, we will appreciate the attitudes of gratitude, that our sin-offering does not condemn us, but was fully paid by one taking our place and sensing the full penalty for our stead. The wages of sin-offering is eternal death, but Jesus takes up our sin-offering, and grants us His life, thus taking away the curse of our sin-offering.

Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin-offering is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Indeed salvation is never without infinite cost. Salvation is only possible for a sinner who takes up a sin-offering. But the wages of sin-offering is death, so salvation cannot be granted even if the sinner is truly sorry for sinning. Since there is infinite power available to you through God, there is never any excuse for sinning. So one cannot save themselves while taking up a sin-offering for others.

Mt 27:42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

Jesus at infinite risk to Himself, took up all the sin-offerings of mankind, lived a sinless life, thus cancelling the penalty of death to Himself; while accepting the second death on behalf of others, He could grant eternal life to anyone He chooses. There is a sin-offering through Jesus offered to you without cost..

Isa 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Ac 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Accept this salvation today, and fall down at His feet seeing His scars in His hands for eternity, as you see Him calling you His friend. Can this oxymoron empower in you a deep attitude of gratitude? Can you like Martha sinning much, forgiven much, love much?

Zec 13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

Lu 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

As we grow into Jesus and abide with Him our sinning vanishes, and our power of Jesus in our life increases.

1Jo 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

This verse translated correctly speaks of the relationship of Jesus that eventually reaches the place of sinlessness. Our training will be complete and we will be found developing different stages of love as we mature in Jesus.

2Pe 1:5  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

  • 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
  • 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
  • 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    What a privilege it is indeed to grow up in Jesus in a relationship to continue abiding in Him, he understands our fallings and faults, and is ready to help us overcome every problem in our lives.

    1Jo 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

  • 2 And he is the propitiation for our sin-offerings: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
  • 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

    May we be found worthy of special favour from Jesus, being humble and meek and endured affliction in this world for His Name's sake.

    Re 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

    Praise Jesus Name! Shalom
